Please read the documentation properly and follow the steps provided there for installation and 1st time use. You need to format the memory card the 1st time before you can start recording. Hope this help’s solve your issue

Wifi hotspot function is not required to record. The camera will always record video when its turned on and there is a sd card inserted inside. You dont have to connect your smartphone to dashcam.
If your smartphone is auto-connecting, then, open the WiFi settings and open the dashcam wifi and click on 'forget network'. It wont connect again Unless you enter the password again.

It works as long as its connected to the power socket of the car and the engine is turned on. It has no relation to the user or the phone. The phone is used to connect to the dashcam only to alter any settings if necessary. Otherwise you never have to connect it to the phone ever and it will keep working forever.
If you are within the hotspot network of the dashcam, about (10-20meters) and the dashcam is turned on, then yes you can watch it live on your smartphone. If you are out of range, you cannot.

1. Doesn't need the internet at all. Also, not needed to connect to a smartphone evertime. Only needs connection to change any settings 2. Yes you can switch off the camera by removing the power port. For switching off only mic, you can do that via settings. 3. Dashcam needs power to run. No you don't have to switch on the dashcam manually everytime. It is supposed to turn on automatically as soon as the car stars (provided it's connected to the 12v adapter port with proper connection). If it's not turning on, better to apply for a replacement or register a complaint to their service support

Not at all. You never need to turn on the app once you install the dashcam. The first time, you may not have aligned the camera properly with your hands, and that's why to confirm proper orientation, you have to use the app. You need not do that as well if you are very sure of your adjustment.

The voltage in the usb port is not sufficient to run the dashcam. And regarding the adapter, it doesn't drain the battery unless connected to any device. So leaving it in the car (without any device connected) wont cause any issues.
Video is recorded in 1min files. So you have to download those individual files and then stitch them together using a video editing software if you need a full length video.

If you instantly transfer the sticker and stick ot somewhere else(glass or its original wrapper) it will be usable again. If you leave it out and it catches dust etc, the attachment wont work well.

Try formatting the sd card via the 70mai app. Login to the app and open dashcam settings. You will find the format option in the the bottom.
