As a kid I had this album when it came out. A couple hundred hours listening to this album. What a hoot! Still love this guy and his brand of humor. I don't know about his recent troubles. All I know is that people lie. People lie for money. People lie for pleasure. Crazy world. Love this guy and his brand of humor.
This is the first record I ever owned. I would play it to anyone who came to my house and I was so proud of it. No one was impressed but I didn’t care. BC is the greatest at storytelling humour. No profanity, just good wholesome comedy.
Thank you for great comments! This channel strickly for high praises of song and comedy artists contribute to world. Definitely not for the gossip or truth of their personal goodness or sins. This day, Mother's Day, is a righteous day for folk to research & reflect on how an artist's "power" can enrich or destroy part of a woman's life. But the comedy is still great! Thank you for watching and reading my comments. It's just one of those days for typing. 😊
This takes me back to 1975 when I was a 10 year old kid in Australia...half the gags went over my head, having never heard of Caroll Shelby or the Cobra. Now on the wrong side of 50, it's like listening to a whole new album.
G’day Lezzman, fellow Aussie here I and grew up listening to BC in the mid 70’s. I also never knew who Caroll Shelby or what a Cobra was, but it was still funny because it was a good story. My grandfather was great at telling stories and when my uncle played BC’s Fat Albert record, I was hooked. I had that instant connection with characters, situations and endings. We may not have known about the people but we accepted them as a character in the story and went with it. There was always some hook that grabbed us that we could relate to, listening to it again many years later, it becomes even funnier because we are older and more attuned to life.
First heard it on cassette in the 1980s. An acquaintance used the part about the mechanic looking at his "broken" car in a college radio ad. Didn't know it was a true story until a couple of years ago.
My mother has this and many other vinyl records of Bill Cosby. I listened to a few when I was a little kid until the player broke. Years later as an older teen my mom bought a new record player and me and my bro started listening to these records. I turned beet red I was laughing so hard.
REVENGE,which I believe precedes this album was also recorded in Lake Tahoe. Don Rickles, another Warner Bros. client at the time, also recorded in Lake Tahoe, but at the Sahara.
Thank you for the upload, It's nice to hear some of Bills other work. Most of the video, though, sounds like it's being played under the rated speed though and could benefit from a slight tune up.
Thank you for sharing this. Love Bill Cosby. In the future can you make the volume louder? I can't hear it on my speakers and I don't like being tethered to my headphones when I don't need to be.
Yeah I know, didn't realize it back then. But, different turntable now a days. Videos since those days a bit better. :) Thank you for feedback & listening on my channel. :)

Thank you for your comments & listening to Cosby on my channel. I love his comedy for this channel. His personal life ain't part of this package. 😊

I don't care what anyone says. This man gets me laughing harder than any other standup comic ever, period!
AHHHH YEAH NOW THATS WHAT I CALL20% COOLER
My exact thought.☺
In 1966 I had the pleasure of listening to all his record. I listened for hours while embroidering a tablecloth. Loved him ever since.....
I love Bill Cosby! Thank you so much.

@@ThreeMinutesAday What's even more ironic is I now drive a Volkswagen...not quite a sports car but it's a pretty cool SUV.
A girl I knew picked me up at home one day in 67 in her dads brand new one and man you talk about power.

I remember those good old days. We used to cell bottles.
When i was a kid, my broz and sistaz would listen to Cosby's benign but incredibly funny comedy albums over and over....
Great routine, great performance.
Thank you so much!
I love bill cosby!
That car had a very storied future
I always wonder if Tony Maxey heard this album
Brilliant 👏

Playback at 1.25x is closer to normal voice pitch but it still varies.
Had this on 8 track tape.

yea.. set playback to 1.25x for normal pitch and speed.
bill is funny as hell !!!!
Great comedian
I've always wondered and correct me if I'm wrong, why the audio pitch varies depending on the brightness....

Dean Smith Perhaps Bill can show up in person and do this show for you, at your convenience of course.
I think the turntable is a little slow.
