I learned calcus without grasping it's importance and real life application. This man has just closed that gap in one lesson.

Finally my "why do we need all of this? Where do you need to use this? How is this useful" questions have been answered perfectly!
I remember getting shouted at for asking questions like this. If only my teachers could have explained concepts like this.

I listened to your lecture on integrals last night dumb-struck that I understood everything you covered. I say this because, I only went through Algebra 2 in school. You explained this subject so clearly I couldn't do anything but understand it. You have an extrordinary talent. I will be following you with out any doubt. Kudos

You are a wonderful soul... I am a Magistrate and civil judge, but I love watching your videos...
I always wanted to become an engineer, but I couldn't understand calculus...
Now, I realise that it's not my head, it must be my math teacher... I could understand whatever you are explaining...
When I get bored I use to watch your videos...
Perhaps one day, when I have a kid myself and he too doesn't have a good math teacher, I could teach him...
Perhaps, I want to tackle higher mathematics to understand higher mathematics...
But thank you, kind sir, from the bottom of my heart...

Thank you so much for posting these educational videos, you make complex topics related to math and science so easy to understand a lot of the other youtube instructors are rather boring or you are just staring at a board with a bunch of numbers and diagrams, but having someone walk you through it, almost as if you were face to face, makes it much easier to understand and I am better able to stay engaged with an actual person standing there explaining things. I hope to use the full courses soon one day from your website and really buckle down and learn what I need to as I plan on pursuing electrical engineering. Thanks again!

6:50 - this is where a moving image is so helpful. If you had an example where the angle theta slowly, visibly approaches 0 degrees as the cosine conversely increases along with f increasing, it would be clear even to 5th graders. // 14:24 - state the next 35-40 seconds at the beginning, too, please. It's always constructive to be able to state with this kind of clarity, where it is you're taking us. It also provides a framework within which the student is able to place everything that follows.
