  • Visit Marrakech Morocco in 2019. Join us and travel to Marrakech in this cinematic travel video, showing some of the "must see" Marrakech tourist attractions and things to do in Marrakech's old city located around the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square - a typical Marrakech Riad, the souks around the medina, Dar El Bacha, Le Jardin Secret and Bahia Palace. Enjoy the colors of a beautiful sunset over the mountains in the Agafay desert just outside of Marrakesh.

    My goal: Cure Travel Deficiency!
My name is Jan and I travel with my girlfriend Carla. I believe traveling and exploring new places is the key to a happy life. I also believe most of us are suffering from travel deficiency as we want to travel more than we actually do due to a lack of information and our busy everyday lives. It is time to stop dreaming and take back control!
I created this channel to build an open travel community which enables people to spend less time researching and more time traveling by having access to the right information more quickly.
In 2019, I challenged myself to prove that it is possible to travel frequently (12 destinations in 12 months) despite having a busy life - no more excuses!
Join me on my journey and let’s cure travel deficiency together - one trip at a time.
Please subscribe and click on the bell to get notified every week when I upload a new video.

    Upcoming Marrakesh videos:
Part 2 of my series, will be a comprehensive Marrakech Morocco travel guide. A city full of hidden oases, beautiful architecture and great rooftop restaurants. However, it is easy to get lost in the colorful maze of souks and small alleys and face locals who demand money in exchange for (sometimes wrong) directions.
In my travel guide, I will provide you with essential tips to help you avoid these situations, find the sights shown in this video more easily and plan your perfect Marrakech getaway. I will share my experiences around weather, flights, transportation, guided tours, attractions, food as well as prices.
In part 3, I will explain how I found the perfect Riad (Riad Bindoo) for our weekend in the old city and recommend you a luxury hotel in the new city - in case you are looking for a typical hotel and spa experience in the more modern part of Marrakesh.

Hi - glad you liked it. I recommend watching my Marrakech Guide (ruclips.net/video/qOv32APcziU/видео.html ). In this video, I share lots of insider tips and show the best attractions and restaurants (including the prices) in detail. In short, I loved Dar El Bacha (come here in the morning to avoid the crowds) and the Agafay Desert (book a camel ride for free transfer to the desert). There are lots of great restaurants in Marrakech with stunning courtyards, rooftops with amazing views and belly dancing shows. Watch my other video for the details and let me know if you have any questions!

sorry if I write again, can you please tell me how the place is called your girlfriend in the penultimate video is the desert and the tents in the background. I am flying to Marrakech on Sunday and this place is breathtaking. many thanks.

Hi Christian, no worries - that is what this channel is for: inspiring people to travel more & exchanging insider tips! The place is called Agafay Desert. You can get there by car and it is about 30 - 40 minutes outside of Marrakech. The tents belong to luxury camps which offer overnight stays (which we didn’t do). The easiest option to get out there - if you do not have a car available - would be to book a camel ride in the Agafay Desert. That should include your transfer out to the desert and you do not need to organize anything else. However, make sure they really go to the desert and do not stop just outside of the city center. As the name suggests, it is in the middle of nowhere, so there won’t be any taxis if you don’t order one in advance. I assume that would be quite expensive... Have a great time in Marrakech and let me know if you have any other questions. Are you going to visit other cities in Morocco as well? If you have any insider tips after your trip, feel free to share them here with us!
