  • We need to get the internet into 2 buildings on the farm. Adalov sent us a wireless bridge to do just that. We've used a single bridge from one building to another but this kit comes with ability to add a second building. And it can host cameras too. We will install it in one building today. What's really neat about Adalov is that they are giving us a discount code for you guys. 20% off Click the link below to enjoy that "Black Friday" Discount.

You could easily be a voice actor for Bob Odenkirk if there was a better Call Sault cartoon or video game.

I had to do a search on Mr. Odenkirk. I had no idea who he was. I do live somewhat a sheltered life. Thanks for watching and posting your comment. Hope to see you in the comments of some of our other videos. Kevin

I have a question: I think to buy wifi cameras for outside use but I don’t know if the frequency 5.8 is compatible to the camera’s frequency what is normally 2.4 G

Thanks for watching our video. What an interesting question! These are designed for remote cameras. We don't use them for that application. I think you would want to hook them up to a switch or router type device then connect your camera through that. I would love to know the answer to this myself. Let me know if you find out. We can all learn together. Kevin

Great video! Interested to know how well the reception is with the receiver that is inside the cottage. Is the wifi signal strong enough to do everything you need with an indoor mount? Could you now hook up a router for the cottage and run a strong wifi network with this setup? Thanks again and greetings from Canada.

Greetings neighbor from the north. Sorry for the delay in responding. We are in the woods a lot this time of year getting the lines ready for maple season. The bridge is working well in the cottage. I have not tested the speeds but I'm sure I would hear about it from the guests if it were not fast enough. We have 100m up/down in our house and there is about 60m both up and down. And I installed a router in the cottage too. No complaints yet! If you have other questions, I'm happy to help. Thanks for watching and commenting! Kevin

@@MillGapFarms Thanks very much for the response! My set up is fairly similar (house to a barn and also to a garage). However, I am concerned about line of sight as the 3 buildings are almost in an equilateral triangle and the transmitter from the house does not "see" the garage (blocked by the roof of the house). Other comments have mentioned line of sight needing to be clear and my scenario would not be perfectly clear. If receivers could also act as transmitters at the same time, that would be ideal! Anyway, thanks again for helping. Happy to use your link when it comes time to purchase.

In order to get wifi in the cottage or the red barn, do you need to install an additional router? Or does the slave unit broadcast the same wireless network as your house?

I apologize Jacked822 for not getting back to you sooner. Your comment landed in "held for review". I've never had that happen and don't check it. We did need an additional router for the cottage and the intent is to add another receiver for the red barn and another router to ensure wifi throughout the red barn. I think it can broadcast the same info but we don't let it do that because we want the info separate so folks can back track and get into our network. I'm not a networking guy and thankfully our guests don't go poking around thankfully. I hope this helps, even thought it is so late. Thank you for watching our video and leaving your comment. Kevin

all these videos are the same....these are plug and play, but they require a WIFI password, and still have not found it. I have a great signal, but I can't crack the code for the password

Let me find my paperwork and I'll see what we have in the way of a password. I don't remember where I put it but I'll look and let you know. Thanks Kevin
