Hi, 1. Do I need a password when I connect to Wi-Fi? And if so, how does Ai set the password? Is there an app? 2. How do I determine the name of the network? Is this the name of the modem I already have at home?

My units say you need a cat5e.
I ended up buying cat 6 cable from Amazon.
Would that affect how the units operate? Or am I ok?

Cat6 will work just fine. A Cat6 cable is similar to a Cat5 ethernet cable - it consists of four pairs of twisted copper wire. However, it provides you with much more functionality. A Cat6 cable has a bandwidth capacity of 250 MHz, for example, and it offers you speeds of up to 10 Gbps. It's also compatible with both Cat5 and Cat5E cables.

Ok so I get how to install the P2P, the question I have is. All I want is a camera to be in a horse stall. She’s getting ready to foal and I just wanna watch her on my iPhone when I’m at work. I don’t need a DVR or anything I just need to know how to connect my usb camera to the slave end at my barn.

One way to do this is by using a device called a "USB network server" or "USB over IP" server. This device allows you to connect your USB camera to the server via USB, and then connect the server to your WiFi network using an Ethernet cable. The USB network server will create a virtual USB connection over the network, allowing you to access the webcam from any computer or device on your WiFi network.
Another way would be to purchase a Wi-Fi camera and connect that way.

If your Wi-Fi network has a password setup, then yes. It will be the name of your current network.
