If you know what to look for and a close approximate of what each machine is worth, there's great money to be made flipping recreational vehicles like these. I know because I used to do it. I used to have my own business fixing all kinds of bikes/3&4 wheelers/snowmobiles/personal watercraft, etc... and during the downtime (almost always in the winter), I would do exactly that. I was able to obtain quite a few of them through trading, bartering using my time and experience, and many times just straight cash buying. The key is hustling. If you have the determination and drive, then you can easily make well over 100k + yearly (the best part is most of the deals are for ca$h) 😉

I had the '02 version, and I can't put into words just how incredible that bike handled. All I had to do was think about it, and that bike cornered for me, which was great because I was lousy at cornering. I bought it used from a 14 year old kid who only ripped it up and down his driveway. It had a 144cc long-rod kit in it, and the power was perfect. It still had the little titties on the tires. Of all my race bikes, that one was my favorite.

Thanks Joe, you really crack me up. The bike is running so we'll check for a spark, had me in stitches. It is no good going for stock jetting with that pipe fitted, I'm afraid it's a little bit of trial and error but what I would suggest is cleaning the exhaust out, burn all of the old scale etc out of it, clean the silencer out and re pack it with fresh wadding. When testing after all this is done you need to do a plug chop to give a true state of running.

I kinda can't wrap my head around how people can flip dirt bikes for profit. Alle the deals I see in my area are for like 1.5k broken and then 2k running for about the same bike. So if you have to replace basically any bigger part you are just done for.

No I'm the 460 main jet instead of the 340 main jet cause you're using the 27.5 pilot jet still. So you'll only need the 460. If you had A different jet in the pilot I'd say change it to the 120 and main jet to A 340. If the forums say 27.5 and 460 that's what it takes then. I just gave you the secondary option of getting the 460 from using 2 different jets that adds up to 460 together as one is all.

I'd also take the pipes off, and see if you can drain any old fluid out of them. That thick spatter coming off the baffle has gotta be coming from somewhere.

Most of you probably do, but for anyone who doesn’t know Mikuni and Keihin use different jetting measurements. I believe Keihin simply just jet diameter in millimeters so a 145 jet would be 1.45 millimeters in diameter. But Mikuni uses a different way to measure them, I’m not 100% but I believe it has to do with volume and flow rate.

Joe, your Apple Trees, the Deer are destroying them. You need bigger fencing, larger diameter circle and much taller. Also a Gator Bag for when it's been too dry for too long. Also, how are the Potatoes and Pumpkins coming? Please let us know...

Depending on your elevation, I’d still say it’s too rich in the air/fuel department, I’ve had bikes that smoke a shit ton because we run a rich premix mixture when you first start them. But after a little bit of hard riding, they stop. This one doesn’t seem to. We had a 95 CR 125, that we put a 140 or 135 (I can’t remember) jet in with a Keihin carb and it ran great. About 3000 ft. Yeah I get that bites have different porting and whatever else that may cause a different jetting need but I’m just saying 145 could most definitely be a little rich for that Bike

When you are bleeding the break no matter if it is front or rear you need to hold the lever and or the pedal down and then release the bleeder valve and then tighten it right back up before you release the lever or the pedal.

What were the pedal valves like? Chipped valve pedals can also cause issues. See what mm size carb is, since it’s not the stock carb.

I wish you included year, make and model/cc in the title of your videos. I've watched so many of them now and man would it help when I want to search for a video that I've watched and wanted to watch again when I work on one of my bikes to compare what I've got and what you did to fix it. That way your videos could be more of a repair giude that just entertaining and never know what bike you are going to watch on your next videos.

You need 120 pilot jet and A 340 main jet sizes to get the 460 number dead on Joe.
