*DISCLAMER* My husband normally always helps with Weston’s bath/ bedtime routine and cleaning toys but since he’s going back to work from paternity leave next week I wanted to do this myself kind of as a trial run!😂 Since I won’t have his help soon! But I had to put this disclaimer because he has been the BIGGEST help for the last month being home!
That’s awesome ! I have a suggestion: try a warm bath for the babe after his adjustment, it helps sooo much with muscles - see if it helps with him being restless - also try and keep his upper half a bit elevated when he has stomach issues - you’re doing amazing !!
Does he normally work an off shift or 1st? I am still trying to adjust almost 5 months later and my husband works 3rd shift and I work 1st shift FT. My daughter is almost 5 months (11 days away) and my oldest is 12 (which sounds like it would be easier but it's still been a HUGE adjustment).
Super impressed that you're able to get yourself ready with hair and makeup done with a newborn and toddler! My little man is 1.5 y/o and I'm still struggling to do those things regularly 😂

You are a supermom. Its so hard to balance and people don't realize what being a stay at home mom is all about. I stay home as well but I also watch kids from home so I have my two plus 6. It's crazy to say the least and not as easy as it seems! I love seeing you with Weston. It makes me miss when my baby boy was that small (he's 7 now). They grow up fast, soak it in. You are beautiful and amazing and I love seeing your videos. They truly motivate me with so much. Thank you ❤

My heart hurts that you and baby had to go through so much for a few weeks first. My son also had a tremendously bad tongue tie and couldn’t stick his tongue out. Luckily lactation said something (peds totally didn’t care to even look!) before we went home and stopped at the ENT at discharge. You’re amazing. I too am so proud of you because I know it is so challenging getting through those beginning hard stages but the pay off is so worth it!!!

Wow I have an 11 month old and wasn't NEARLY this productive and put together when she was born (or now!) Question, what wrap are you using here for Jax?? In your newborn essential video you mentioned that wraps were too confusing, and thats how I felt too so I never used mine. But it looks so comfortable! Did you find an easier one?

Hey I just discovered you and I am so glad I did. I enjoy watching your videos, you are such a amazing mom, wife, woman in general. I just discovered I was pregnant and had problems with feeding my last one and kept getting clogged ducts. I have heard such good things on the haakaa silicone breast pump. From what I have heard all u do is suction it to the boob that your not feeding baby on and it catches all your letdown milk that would normally go to waste in a pad. I wasn’t sure if you would be interested but thought I would mention it and see if u wanted to look into it and see if it might help you. 😊
Are you using a shield to nurse baby Jax? If so which one do you like! I’m due in 3 weeks and had a lot of issues with nursing my first and latching, so I want to be prepared just Incase

Girl, I swear our stories are the SAME! I had lost a significant amount of weight and got pregnant with number baby boy #2 and he was born like a week before Jax! My sweet boy also had a lip and tongue tie revision (class 4 lip and tongue!). We are 3 weeks out from revision and it has made a WORLD of difference. His gassiness is almost non existant. He is eating on schedule every 3 hours and sleeps 5 to 6 hour stretches at night!! He is a completely different baby! Hope it helps for you and your little guy too💕

Yes we’re using the Haaka but only because of his ties. I would recommend starting with the medela- it’s much smaller
