With Champions 2024 playoffs right around the corner, I want to mention each vct team's chances at lifting the trophy, how they might go about it, and what it would mean to do so.

Riot released a graphic of the top KD ratio players from the group stages and Aspas and kiNgg (both around 1.2) were both top 10 I believe.
I love how it's questionable who will frag for LEV when there's 2 clear choices and Tex and Mazino are both known to have their insane moments. The real question for LEV is if our team play and mental are solid.

@@sleefy2343 EDG were also in the Shanghai Playoffs and didn’t even win a single match. This year was pretty much a worst year for VCT CN.

It's so shocking to see only one in the apac goes into the playoffs, people really expected geng to qualify for playoffs; i guess its masters curse, mentally not prepared, or the loss of confidence after their defeat at the hands of TH. Well they're still a beast of a team and i hope they bounce back next year.
Skill issues
Tbf FNC did that consecutively last year so idk how anyone can give them reasons. Guess there just arent dynasty over here

Chronicle and Derke are up for Goat status. These two are so underrated. Everybody talks about Aspas or Tenz as goats. But these guys aren't behind either.

To be fair prime FNC is 2023 so it hasn't been that long since they start to make a name
TBF, Derke is till pretty inconsistent, He's been doing pretty good recently but many of his yoru plays are so troll. Chronicle isn't really underrated, man has 4 titles to his name lmao. Stop saying underrated for every player you like man
@@drexalte69 I think the worst thing about Derker is his Yoru ult. I swear every time he just misses his flash while ulting and dies. Other than that right now Derker is a really solid duelist

G2 isn't really a ascension roster like bleed or teams like them, they are experienced t1 pros besides icy

Tbh I’m most impressed with Chinese valorant it always felt like they were a bit behind the curve and now it feels like anyone can really punch up their weight class if the right people show up

If any of these teams win, I'll be happy for one reason or another.
For me it's fnatic and TH , nd with SEN I am just okay , hope trophy comes to either of these teams (mainly to FNC)
Neon buff is a nerf for TH they are a heavy execute and utility use team so Neon is less effective for them now that she doesn't have 2 stuns to clear sites easily

after the first few matches there are curently two teams I can see, who are winning this years champs. The Teams are TeamHeritics and Sentinels

no cap i think after eg broke the second place curse, they introduced the first place curse. eg after champs disbanded their roster cuz of contract jails and stuff cuz shit organization, sentinels after winning Madrid didn't even qualify for the playoffs to qualify for masters shanghai, and now geng bombed out of the groups stages after winning shanghai
I think the only fitting teams for the "grand finals script" would be TH, TE and EDG.
TH becoming like GenG losing the first finals one then winning the second or CN region finally getting trophy.
I wanna believe in Trace Esports that they can go deep in the playoffs!

Viewer wise they made a huge mistake making 3 of the matches same region, it's gonna be boring cause one of your region teams gonna Have to be in the lower bracket, so you already lose 1 chance of your region team of winning Champs most likely
