yeah I live in a country where track racing is forbidden and where torture+rape is getting you less jail than driving fast on a deserted road in 2020 and they are preparing a law to prevent all exhaust mods as in only stock exhausts will be legal...great....
Right, he's had so much bad luck with his cars and trying to get them sorted back out there hadn't been much drifting in a while. His journalism skills are nearly on par with his drifting skills though.
For years this has been the only channel on RUclips where I can click on a half an hour long video, and sit through the entire thing without taking my eyes off the screen. Alexi for me is the best automotive RUclipsr out there! - Cheers from Poland. ( :
7:30 yoooo that white t5r there were only like 2 made. all colors were cream yellow, black, and a forest green, if thats a factory white one its a unicorn. i think there were 2 white and a grey that went to dubai. i have a black t5r wagon that i manual swapped =)
Awesome vlog. Nice car meets at the start. Thinking about getting Volvo wagon or any wagon as the next daily or weekend travel car. The drifting event was great, nice to see a mix of different cars. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
@AClockHead103 Does it run at all? Or did you just buy it to get an authentic body? Not into cars much, but that sounds a bit too cheap for a running car
AClockHead103 Now that's an emabarrassment. Seeing 4age an association with ae86 immediately jumped out. But I forgot that it's not a car model, but a part :D Makes much more sense this way. Good luck with reassembly!
For those of you who now want a backup alarm in the states, amazon sells a programmable 12v buzzer for about $30 that should hopefully do the same thing. all you'll have to do is get the audio for it, which shouldn't be hard if you look around. haven't done it yet myself but it shouldn't be too difficult
how much easier is it to drift a go kart? when i was a kid i drove go karts every now and then and i always drifted. the instructors yelled at me every time, but i didn't care, it was so much fun.
I lived in Germany for a decade. Taking the Autobahn every day was a joy, even in my dad's AE86. We used to see Ferrari and Porsche, but the real rockets of the Bahn were Volvo 760R and 850R wagons. The supercars wouldn't mess with them. Truly a funny site to see a boxy wagon hitting 300 kph every morning on the way to school.
No worries if you mistake trim levels.(I’m in the U.S) my dad used to have a 1985 Chevy Astro cherry red, curtains inside, even the cargo ladder in the back. Cool to see the vehicle diversity in Japan !!
I built a chevy astro and put a 400hp v8 in it. Gave it custom grafix paint, lowered and rims. It was a wild little drag racing van that was really fun to drive race and carry friends around with.
Really enjoyed the video! Haven't seen much drifting lately and finally got to see a Z drift on your channel,, you seem to always pass over them at meets and whatnot! Excited for your next video!
At 6:52 made me laugh. I worked in the auto industry in Cali as a detailer for about 6 years (before I moved up to parts). I put those things on every car I did. I find it funny that a guy put that on his vehicle. But awesome video Alexi!
A lot of the Astro vans in the U.K. have come via Japan. It’s crazy how far around the world cars get shipped, I’m sure a fair few have circumnavigated the world more than once.
In the 1990's there were companies like California Custom USA customizing brand new Astros and shipping them direct to Japan. There are plenty of Astros over there.
Awesome video man, love tgo see you drifting, it seems so easy jumping on a car you dont know like that and being really good. Sadly it's too short, we need more content XD !!!
I drove a 1999 AWD Astrovan during the winter in college one year and was putting a couple hundred miles a week on it. It would get 14mpg on the highway!
Good find! I bought my Volvo 850R from Japan (imported to Hong Kong); auto, near mint condition, British racing green, and pretty much a joy to drive & work on. Kinda wish I bought a manual but traffic here would make that a nightmare.
Hy Alexy. I'm glad to see that you're OK and even if the situation is serious worldwide, you guys still have fun. I hope that you keep up sharing good quality content with us as always, but please take care and be safe at the same time. Even if you stay home and make videos from home, I will watch all of them as well. Be safe. Best regards from Hungary!
Upon initiating the first corner other drifters will be fully concentrated and focused on maintaining the best car control possible Alexi? 23:03 YEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No lock down here but no events whatsoever as 3 or more people are forbidden. stay at home! awesome vid mate, I'll go search for a back up melody too. hilarous
Japan is truly an automotive heaven.

I always forget how good Alexi's drifting skills are, then I see one of these videos and remember why I started watching this channel
Right, he's had so much bad luck with his cars and trying to get them sorted back out there hadn't been much drifting in a while. His journalism skills are nearly on par with his drifting skills though.
It's so cool to see Volvo's getting some love from Japan!
Seeing the Volvo´s, especially the 855 estates, makes me so proud as a swede. Seeing a 745 container drifting in Japan would be so rad.
Jonas Larsson :’)
Makes me proud as an American Volvo lover
19:04 that is the most convenient thing ive ever seen
Only in japan
Nissin also sold instant ramen in overseas countries, and some of their product have those holes as well. Well, at least in my country
Woah! Was definitely not expecting Volvo content from Noriyaro, but I'm more than happy to see it!

Hi kids, could you explain to a Boomer why being “early” is a thing?
@@JDMism hard to explain.. but it's just a "RUclips joke"

It’s similar to the “First,” but these jokes are significantly funnier than the “First” comments which were quite annoying

Perfect time to buy an 86 because with the virus situation the prices are lower. Plus in the future the nice ones will only appreciate.

The Volvo Polestar from the beginning of the vid is like a rare prototype of Volvo excelling at making a sports car and then abandoning it.
