I think what I’ve noticed the most from drivers compared to what they were about 5+ years ago is that distance hasn’t been the big change, but how forgiving the heads are now. Noticed that between my Nike Covert 2.0 and when I tried out a Stealth driver last week
Don't go for Stealth drivers. They are really hot/fast but the carbon just isn't durable. Cracked my Steath 2 face last year, and my friend already has side cracks on Qi10.
As a relatively slow swinger I switched out from my tsi to the callaway mini driver and what a great move. Same distances, better accuracy and consistency and thus trust and confidence. Equally important was customising the shaft, shaft length, grip and other settings on it. (Even though did the same for the tsi). Has transformed my game iff the tee. Something for others like me to think about instead of going with a new driver.
Pease give Jake more than 1 tee for the driver test! As for the test, GT2 looks marginally better, slightly high launch, a bit less curve on the flight gives a little longer carry. But they are both great looking drivers
Yeah we got set up on the range and forgot tees so we had to search for one 😂 but yes, both great looking drivers. We were surprised to see that dispersion difference
I went with Qi10 standard to replace my TS2 driver. While I like GT2, I found the TM went further especially with mishits. I think either is a great choice and they both have a similar, very clean look at address. Sorry Ping, I just don't like the G430 10k at address.
I agree, I try Titleist and Callaway and Cobra, Taylormade has that compression feel for distance. Qi10 is the game changer for Taylormade. Ping, i just don't like the crown head as much. Kind of throw me off a bit. I have the Qi10 LS and Qi10 for back up. Playing tournament you need a back head. Plus Taylormade they're easy to adjust. People will have their favorite and preference.
I like the stealth better than the gt and qi10. I can’t get the qi10 or gt to carry 305 but stealth I can consistently. The gt was the very same driver number for me as the tsr
Wait... You are used a GT2 and qi10 and can carry 305 yards? Those are not the heads for you man lol. Unless you mean you were using the GT3/4 or qi10 LS
If you want these videos to be worthwhile for most golfers, you should use one of your female fitters that has a swing speed around 90 mph. Information from a golfer that swings his irons at 90 mph and his driver at 115 is of no use to 99% of golfers.
With all due respect. If you swing driver at 90 mph you should not waste time on a new driver. Just pick up something used from a couple of years ago for a fraction of a new driver. Most innovations only benefit 115+ because it takes more speed to see differences. For example spin reduction as is the newest trend benefits only high speed players, more complex roll and bulge also really benefits high speed players, as does lower deviation in spin. Remember the highest correlation to handicap is swing speed.

$1000 drivers are tough to justify now.
Don’t forget you need a shaft that costs as much as the driver to go with it

Good feedback! Great to hear you found one you like and works. Qi10 has been really solid in fittings
Can you add a fade tester for the majority of us out here😂

I have the stealth also longest driver I have ever had going to be hard to beat
I agree. Way better than qi10. Qi10 sounds terrible to me. Looks like plastic
@@nickmillar9651 the matte black is what won me over

Oh course ls, plus and 4. Why ??
GT2 is a great sounding driver but doesn't hold a candle to G430 10k IRL use..
If you are a bad ball striker, the G430 10k is king
Rory makin the tm woods look bad
How so? Scottie is 3rd and Rory is 4th in strokes gained off the tee.
Titleist GT2 kicked ass...period

Most golfers that buy a 700 dollar driver don't swing at 90mph though
