The way crawfish sounds in that South African accent is glorious.
I have tried loads of air pumps, including the twin outlet tetra. Only the very small ones are quiet but they dont have enough power. They drive me nuts but my pleco loves and needs them! Even my fantail goldfish play with the bubbles from the large disc air stone 🥰

Sorry to hear that. A completely silent airpump I have yet to find, although if it is in a cabinet below the tank it can be done.

I bought mine at Petworld XXL Somerset West. Was a long time ago so maybe call them first.
brother, i respect ur input but starting w the tetra whisper, thats the item that brought me here because i truly couldn't hear anything over the pump's horrible noise
Mine was quiet, but thanks for letting me know. I think sometimes you get a dud in a batch, happened to me with another brand.
@@droeksonfishkeeping ya it was prob the batch, id had that same issue w whisper filters where some would be quiet and then id get a batch from a store that would have defective batch.
luckily just got one of those usb rubber clip usb air pumps and i dont even hear it!
I think the mic would help to hear a bit better!!
