In the movie, you can clearly see a Coke can in Dana Barrett's refrigerator (at first the can says "Coca-Cola", and in the next frame the can says "Coke"). A lot of Columbia movies made between 1982 and 1989 would have at least one or two references to Coca-Cola or other Coke products.
I know it's not my business, but how often do you drink Diet Coke or Diet Coke caffeine free? I used to drink a couple cans everyday, but now I'm only limiting myself to 1 or 2. 😃🥰
This is fantastic. Commercials nowadays lack a certain Weird Al touch.
I'd rather not have the Weird Al touch.
Man, I miss the 80s
"Just for the taste of it.. DIET COKE!"
80's jingles had a special way of tingling your ass hairs and making you feel bubbly, miss that time :)

Gotta love Weird Al & Kim Carnes!
Of course and you sure can’t beat having 80s icons especially the ones you mentioned and the ghost logo from Ghostbusters in a soft drink commercial.
I must say that this jingle is so damn catchy.
what made me laugh just is to when some guy stretched his pants out showing how Diet Coke can really trim around. lol!
Wierd Al, Ghostbusters, Diet Coke? Wut?
Back when ads had a catchy jingle.
tvmattkc Columbia Pictures were owned by The Coca-Cola Company in-between those years.
And TriStar Pictures, too.
Weird Al.
Ain't dat the truth!
Diet Coke is what I like t drink at times
