Wow, this is my hometown!😍😍😍 I was born and live in Cumberland. My friends and I have been watching trains every day from the age of 6. For 12 years, we revised an incredible amount of rolling stock. My grandfather worked here when there was a Western Maryland company. Then my dad, and now I entered the driver of the locomotive. In our family, almost everyone worked on the railway. Thank you so much for the plot! By the way, I would very much like to see fresh videos from here.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, especially the UP4014, Big Boy, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day.
Thank you so very much for the fabulous video. I enjoyed it more than you can imagine! The trains. The scenery and your pets. Please give all of them a head scratching for me, JT! I hope you and your family have a super weekend, and I'll chat with you later. I hope so anyway! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Enjoy watching your videos, found your channel a couple of years ago. Was watching Shoestring's channel and found you. My birthday is July 29th, I turn 56
i l;ive in ogden utah and i go to the twin tunnels in taggert to watch trains all the time, its very peaceful as well, another place that i go is echo, just up the road from taggert, great place to watch and no one bothers u either
We had a taker train followed by a medium-sized mixed freight that had 9 locomotives and lots of lumber. Both trains were slow but quite enjoyable. Thanks, JT! 😀😀😀😀❤❤❤❤
Those 'Flash Back´videos Señor Jaws, which you took when you were about 3 or 4 years old, are priceless. Mine are in Black and White, but I was only 3 or 4 in the early 1950s. (born in 1949). We've come a long way from back when, haven't we? Saludos, Amigo!!! RT sends, envía, Colonia Centro Historíco, Puebla, México...
I enjoyed watching this video of trains that you caught in 2019 in Pennsylvania and Maryland along the CSX's Sand Patch Line and your chase of Union Pacific's Big Boy #4014 and Challenger #844. You caught the Union Pacific steam locomotives in Weber Canyon east of Ogden, Utah. A couple of the segments with the Union Pacific steam locomotives looked familiar from videos that you previously uploaded. (Posted 25 July 2024 at 1535 CDT.)
Hey jaw tooth cool trains. I remember big boy videos when you chased it. Must been frustrating trying to chase with all the people getting in way. I'm glad you still got awesome videos still. Especially coming out tunnel. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
Cumberland and surrounding area has some of the most majestic views you can find on this side of the Mississippi. Mighty fine small mouth bass and trout fishing streams here too.
Hi my friend I see that you made it to Utah to see the 4014 and 844 . I hope you had a great time doing it. I'm sorry that I did not see you Utah is a great place to watch train,s . From Neil schwerdt / MRL man.
Yes, I had a great week there. I chased the steamers from Evanston to Ogden and back. I also got great video of trains in the canyon and also Promontory
Don’t you just love all the folks walking on the train tracks after one train went by? Two … two rails, one train? Is someone trying for a Darwin award?
That spot in Hyndman, Pennsylvania and the trains you caught there was impressive. I see that you also found a High Hood Locomotive. BigBoy is always nice to see.
That was a nice power move. Good trestle action. At first i was thinking, he's quiet today, then i looked in the summery and saw it was old video 😂Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
This is a lot of great trains this morning from Maryland and the trains crossing over the bridge with the creek below was really nice to see, great train action in Utah as well with some more awesome bridges, more steam locomotives and of course the amazing live action pets cats and dogs around the house and yard as well as the music slide shows with great train footage as always thank you Jaw Tooth. 🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚂🇺🇲
What a beautiful scene this train with Big Boy steam locomotive in a magnificent setting that reminds me a little of Cajon Pass, Southern California! 😊
Cumberland has always been a great place to film trains. I spent four years at college there in my pre- RUclips days.. when photography was still a "thing"
@@JawTooth The locomotive trip up to Frostburg is totally worth it if you have about four hours. I rode it in the early 90's and the trip/rail equipment has only improved over time. If you have several days I would reccomend the Alleghany Portage bike path (old NW row) which ranks up there with the Virginia Creeper and the Milwaukee Road bikepath in ID/WA
Altoona seemingly gets all the attention yet Hyndman has its own important niche as it is a different route in the Ascension of the alleghenies. Cumberland has a unique feel partly because it is a big city for the area it still has somewhat of a small town flavor. With the mountains starting their climb part of it hugs their walls. Much of the city seems to be on Perpetual curves and the railroad certainly plays a big factor to this day. A lot of those locomotives also get shop work done at Cumberland so a lot of power is moved around. Just watching the big boy moving along out in the canyon it was routes like this 150 years ago that truly developed the West. One has to love the part after the train passes it looks like Rush Hour in the middle of nowhere
,,А мне нравится природа которая нас окружает приятно видеть среди полей лесов эти рельсы по ним можно и мусор вывозить который люди собирают в доль железной дороги. От этого становится свежее и можно вдох сделать всей грудью.
I love to take videos on that route. You should also go further down Henderson Ave. (National Pike) There is a nice curve that diverges to a long bridge. The Curve is a lil sharper than average. It's usually used by the coal train towards West Virginia.
Saw something strange today. While traveling route 2 north in West Virginia, I saw a tree fall onto the tracks. Came back through several hours later and it was still there.
Engine 6446 is a GP 40-2 mated to its Road Slug 2221 , and engine 6481 is mated to its Road Slug 2276 . Those four are probably being moved back or transferred to a yard, (or being taken away for scrap, hope that is not the case).
The 4014 has come through Wisconsin twice but I couldn't get off of work to chase it, we're short too many people. The double header with 844 was cool. The CSX train with all of the power was probably a balancing move. Awesome video throughout, enjoyed it immensely. Thanks JT!
9 locomotives wow they must be hauling a lot of cargo the freight trains I've seen in my hometown use two locomotives although I didn't catch it on video but I will someday
One time in the town of Olds Alberta I saw a northbound train and it had 7 locomotives on it 6 at the front and 1 in the middle and I said to myself oh my goodness I don’t think all units are running probably 4 of the locomotives were headed to Edmonton Alberta to get some work done and pick up a train of thier own I was amazed
It has 9 engines but most of them are not being used. They are moving move of them to where they are needed. there is a big grade on this line that they just came over called Sand Patch

That's the plan!
Wow two in a row amazing I can tell while you recording you can hear all the train horns everywhere 😅
Yes, true lol
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, especially the UP4014, Big Boy, I like them, they're awesome, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day.

9 locomotives, might be a power move, for a unusually short train. Pretty cool seeing UP 4014 & 844 together. Awesome JT!👍🏼
Such beautiful scenery out west. I've never been there and I appreciate it very much. Thank you, JT! 😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it
@@JawTooth Thanks, JT. I sure did! 😃😃😃
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful Herler and Australian Shepherd
I like the iron bridge and the creek it's crossing. It reminds me of the one I played in as a kid. 😃😃😃❤❤❤

Nicely done,,great to see those engines from old days,,thanks for sharing,,😊

Great video
thanks for watching and God Bless you also!
Another great video JT but as always, my friend you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Thanks 👍. Hopefully I will have a High Bridge video tomorrow
I liked the first trains. NS and CSX pulling the same train is rare. I don’t do the steam trains. Thanks JT for the look back. ❤
Thanks for watching!

9 engines in front. That's the most I've ever seen
