- In the latest episode of the Talking Strange paranormal pop culture show, Kindred Spirits stars paranormal investigators Amy Bruni, Adam Berry & psychic medium Chip Coffey join host Aaron Sagers (Paranormal Caught On Camera; 28 Days Haunted) to discuss the Season 7 of the paranormal investigative show on Travel Channel and Discovery+. In the latest season, Bruni discusses a theme of regret this season, and how that inspired them to examine their lives. They also discuss what they would like their personal impact to be on the paranormal community.
For those that haven't watched Kindred, the show follows Bruni, Berry and Coffey as these intrepid investigators help people who are tormented by the dead by settling spirit activity, capturing evidence and bringing closure to each location they visit. Utilizing several tools to communicate with spirits, they will discover shocking stories by visiting some of America’s most haunted homes and historic sites.
In the Season 7 premiere, “Broken Spirits,” the investigators travel to Greene County Historical Society and Museum, a former poorhouse in Pennsylvania. For nearly 100 years, the institution was said to be a safe haven for the impoverished and disenfranchised. But, in reality, it was run more like an asylum. In the 1890s, a cruel and sadistic overseer named William B. Cage took over the institution. He was known to beat the inmates and he was even accused of chaining individuals in the basement rooms where he allowed them to starve as punishment for minor infractions. Interestingly, all of the inmates who made these reports disappeared from the records. Were they sent away, did they move or were they permanently silenced by Cage is uncertain. When the knowledge became public, Cage was removed. In 1968, the facility reopened and became a cultural center. Today, employees and guests report unexplained footsteps and many have witnessed full-bodied apparitions. Does William Cage or troubled inmates still walk the halls? Bruni, Berry and Coffey investigate multiple locations on the site, including the basement where shackles can still be seen, in hopes of resolving the pains of the past.

I love Amy and Adam and Chip. I just really miss seeing Chip. I absolutely loved Chips show "Psychic Kids". I really appreciated him working with children to learn how to tap into their abilities and validate them.💖🙏
I agree. I loved Chip’s show “Physic Kids” and was so disappointed, and confused, when they cancelled it. It had such a great purpose…an important purpose. Those kids really needed Chips unassuming and kind nature to help them understand what was happening to them. It was heartwarming to see how the kids benefited from Chips experience and knowledge every week. I guess the producers didn’t consider what a disservice it was to the kids or to us viewers, let alone sweet Chip, when they chose to take it off the air. I’m glad to see him back on with Amy and Adam tho. Kindred Spirits is one of the top 2 best shows on the air these days, IMO.

The only reason I watch is because of the compassion and empathy they show to both living and non-living. I love that their show doesn't try to scare the audience. They link the mystery of the paranormal to awe and wonder, instead of danger and fear.

Kindred Spirits is my favorite paranormal show, and I watch most of them. (Not GA). Amy and Adam are so compassionate and go about their investigations in a very logical, yet personable way. Really love these kids. 💕💕💕 love you too Chip.

I would adore doing an investigation with Chip. He's so tapped in and respectful, but also allows his emotions lead him and trusts that.
I have followed Amy and Adam since Ghost Hunter days, and Chip Coffey since Paranormal State. This show is one of the best dealing with the paranormal I have seen and enjoy following. I love that they actually try to communicate with the spirits (with great success) and listen to what "they" want. While some contact does profoundly effect them, there is no running or shreeking or being afraid when they get what they asked for - I hate those type of shows. They truly help both the client and the spirits. I hope they have a long continued run - I know I will be watching. Goes without saying I love Chip, he brings such professionalism and honesty to any experience.

I've seen many videos of different haunted investigators but this team here is my absolute favorite they have like no fear they do not yell and scream over any little noise I hear I really really enjoy all the kinder team

I love this show! Love the respect they all show for the individuals they investigate and the spirits. Love Amy, Adam & Chip! They all work well together! Wish they had more shows! I will continue to follow them wherever they go!
I just got turned on to Kindred Spirits. I love how calm and measured this team is. There is no sensationalism or craziness. Other shows (I won’t name names) show more of the investigators running and screaming like weirdos rather than creating a space to solve the issues as a result of the spirits being there.
I do wish they would focus - even here or there - upon revisiting older shows and if people are happy with their spirits and what they have learned about living with them. That would be super cool.

History, Evidence, Respect makes Kindred Spirits THE best paranormal investigation show. I've only seen up to Series 6 Episode 4 because if STUPID Foxtel Australia programming; but compared to a dozen other shows; Kindred Spirits is FAR ABOVE in overall quality. Can’t wait for season eight I am just praying that they do not take kinder spirits off the air. I am 63 years old It all started with watching chip coffee and then when I heard about him being on kindred spirits could not wait for that show to come out Amy and Adam are awesome and white chip coffee makes it even better. Please please please travel channel do not take them off the air
I agree. If this wonderful show is targeted by the same jerk who's been getting other good shows canceled, I'll give up. Chip's Psychic Kids show should still be on, too. And it's not even available on Discovery+...why is that, I wonder???

I've never agreed with the provoking kind of investigation. It's like going into someone's house, yelling at them and expecting them to want to visit with you. It's disrespectful.
I love Amy and Adam with Chip they need when the experts are needed. Chip is so plugged in with life on the past, present and future. I was watching the Spirits behind Aaron.👀 The color of the wall highlights the Spirits behind him. I was watching their expressions, and head positions change, but particularly on the right side from my view. When you all talked about how sad and hopeless these people must have felt, the head drops and hands come upward in prayer. 🙏😭💔 I feel that these Spirits are definitely listening to this conversation. 💖♾️

I feel SO badly for some of these spirits that are stuck or afraid or just need HELP to get to the light! I’m a huge advocate for doing things humanely. These are people who just don’t have their physical bodies anymore. But being stuck on this Earthly plane kinda breaks my heart!
I will never forget the lady soul who was stuck for literally a hundred years reliving the tragedy and panic of dying by being hit by a train while driving her car!! Amy and Adam set her free!!! I was incredibly touched and blown away by that particular show.
The lady ghost saw her own death certificate and said, “ a hundred years???”🥺😩😢
That broke my heart for her. But she was freed by Kindreds Spirits and that… IS, WHAT I WANT TO SEE MORE OF!!!

I love how you all respect the spirits that deserve the respect t. There are plenty of bad ones. Some episodes made me cry to really see how the spirit doesn't know they are dead. The spooked episode was 'ghost train".. very bizarre

These guys from Kindred Spirits are fantastic. Yes their show is spooky and I love the history. In my opinion to just go in and be terrified and put yourself in danger is not really ghost hunting. There's more to just being a ghost hunter. These ghosts were once humans so we need to be a little sympathetic.😊

Such a great group. I am a solo explorer of all things nature, abandoned and street photography. In the process, I have had numerous unexplainable experiences with the sound of footsteps, batteries to my flashlight glitching. A spirit was even nice enough to open a door for me when I was crossing a very sketchy roof of an abandoned hospital. I am by means a medium, more like an empath. Do you think those on the other side are more inclined to engage those of us with empathic/ or medium vibes?
I like the psychological kindness they bring to understand why these spirits are trying to reach out ...Good or bad...I see past pictures of history and the meaning of who what why ....so I do learn how to live and help

Well I'm originally from Amsterdam Netherlands , but I was born in Germany , my mom from Netherlands and my dad Germany.
I'm glad that Amy and Adam (and Chip) stuck to their guns about having more compassion as an element in production for ghost shows. I really am turned off with investigators who sell the story that everything they walk into is evil and demonic, being possessed, staring into the void and saying, "Did you hear that?" Sure, there may be cases that are not all positive, but I can't watch episode after episode of that kind of investigation (ironically, I find those shows boring). Kindred Spirits has the right combination of history, story telling, evidence finding, and investigative nuance that gives respect to the dead that I appreciate more than any other show. Well done!

I've learned that most of the spirits that are causing problems are the I ones that need to be understood or afraid they would be forgotten then you reassure them that they won't be forgotten, the the haunts are less. Or they want justice. The library one was funny at the end when other mancalled the other man names. Amy says "ok,we don't call people names" like you were a mom telling him to behave. Lol

This is the most believable of all the paranormal shows . I’ve had some of my own paranormal experiences ,that try as I might , I can’t find a way to blame it on anything else .. and I still won’t say I’m a believer … even my own eyes won’t convince me … lol. But anyway , it’s entertaining and interesting and I respect their non flamboyant style . And Chip is pretty believable ..
