Hey Ethan and hila! just wanna say that I am a twin, and I wasn't conceived naturally. my parents were getting pretty old, but they really wanted to have kids. they went to a special fertility doctor. they took two sperm cells from my dad and two egg cells from my mom, and doctors put the cells together in a Petri dish to make me and my brother! once they had the two embryos, they put them back inside my mom. if you two are really desperate, you can do the same! hope this helps and good luck! Some people's body take a while to adjust to being off birth control. i know of women who it took them 8-12 months after stopping birthcontrol to get pregnant. Don't put too must pressure on yourself! See some doctors if you are concerned but just have fun. Making a tiny mouth breather is supposed to be fun lol I'd give it a few more months and if nothing comes of it go see a doctor, get some eggs and swimmers tested and go from there!

Thanks for talking about this it’s really not spoken about enough. My man and I were trying for 9 months I then fell pregnant and we were fucking happy. At our 12 week scan we found out we’d had a Molar Pregnancy. So no baby, instead a tumour in its place. I had it removed then I had testing for a couple months after. The tumour began to grow again and now it’s cancer and I’m on chemo. We won’t be able to try again for at least a year, most likely 18 months. All because we wanted a baby

medically speaking, after 12 months of unprotected sex (regularly have had sex during the ovulation period) only 80% of couples get pregnant and after 24 months it's about 90%. The rate would go up only slightly after that.
so you've got nothing to worry about if you haven't been trying for at least 2 years.
EDIT: it also depends on the type of birth control as well!! depot injections are notorious for delaying ovulation for a good 6-9 months after you stop them!

My mom has always been very thin and didn't even put on fat during pregnancy, basically was just skinny except her baby bump and didn't have any fat on her stomach after giving birth, but she had two perfectly healthy, normal sized kids and had no difficulties at all during pregnancy or childbirth. Plenty of people have that experience and have since the dawn of man.
