This is truly amazing! I’m glad you’re playing Hollow Knight more and more! Here are some tips if you need them -Cornifer is in the Fungal Wastes and is relatively near the Queen’s Station -If you backtrack to the entrance where you first came into the Fungal Wastes, if you go down and you see those two dead bugs you saw before the path from them leads to another merchant -Also you already know that there’s acid everywhere so it’s highly recommended to look down as often as possible Hope these help!
I love how you did brooding mawlek on the fourth episode while on my playthroughs he's usually the first enemy who can take three or more old nail hits I fight
Ok so heres some tips (no spoilers): 1. Thorns of agony is better then you think. Maybe try it out to see if you like it. (Especially since it only costs one carm notch) 3. The lumafly lantern isn't too important right now, but it makes one of the biggest areas in the game a lot easier. (And unlocks a few other areas) 4. Check on Myla every time you get a new ability (Not spell) 5. The signs that are everywhere are for pointing where to go to get to "the city" that the NPC's keep mentioning. 6. Theres a small place you might want to explore to the left of where you currently are at the stag station.
I just wanted to say you did phenomenal on Brooding Mawlek. You were underleveled, too, and completed it without frustration in one of your first tries. That thing took me 10 tries to beat, with more advanced weaponry.
Tip for the Massive Moss Charger (because you MIGHT come to fight it again sometime): when it's charging towards you, hit it repeatedly from the front. If timed right, you should be able to only lose one mask of health and annihilate the creature within seconds. There will be a way in the future to kill it without taking any damage (and even forcing it into a corner), but it'll only be doable with a charm that comes later in the game. I'd also highly suggest marking abyss barriers (the black, unpassable walls you saw in the last episode) with gray markers, as they're rather tedious to find again. Anyhow, I'm really enjoying your playthrough of Hollow Knight right now! You're my favorite one so far and I can't wait to see more episodes soon!

thorns of agony is a very useful charm and I highly recommend having it on for combat. You weren't actually supposed to be able to down slash on the spikes towards the brooding mawlek, there is another mobility upgrade you can find which you are supposed to use. What Salubra meant at 30:29 was how there are some combinations between charms that give you an extra bonus effect so maybe try out a few combinations between charms you get a bit later. 41:04 GOOD JOB! Most of the signs just indicate there is something useful near by such as a vendor or a station. The lantern is used for a lot more than you think there are a few areas where you will need it to complete the area, so it is definitely worth the geo. Good luck, I think you'll really enjoy what's to come!
I was going to say "him", but I followed a line of reasoning very simple (and half idiot) that: brooding = chocando (in my country). "He" is rarely something that "brood" (shock, hatch).

1) you hear his humming if your close enough
2) you see pages scattered about.... they leave a "paper trail" that leads to him.
I recommend starting the search for Cornifer from the Queen's Station.

Me, who uses quick focus and fury of the fallen: my objectives are beyond your comprehension
This is truly amazing! I’m glad you’re playing Hollow Knight more and more!
Here are some tips if you need them
-Cornifer is in the Fungal Wastes and is relatively near the Queen’s Station
-If you backtrack to the entrance where you first came into the Fungal Wastes, if you go down and you see those two dead bugs you saw before the path from them leads to another merchant
-Also you already know that there’s acid everywhere so it’s highly recommended to look down as often as possible
Hope these help!
53:45 you missed cornifer rught outside the queens station you can see the map papers to the down right of it
I love how you did brooding mawlek on the fourth episode while on my playthroughs he's usually the first enemy who can take three or more old nail hits I fight

“This game is too nice to me sometimes!”
Just you wait, Merg... It gets worse :>
"So these are like the major mini bosses of this area" *oh sweet summer child*
OH MY GOD HE ACTUALLY DID IT.
I'M ACTUALLY SHOCKED
I found that boss waaay to early
hell yeah my fanart got included
Salubra is a slug btw
Ok so heres some tips (no spoilers):
1. Thorns of agony is better then you think. Maybe try it out to see if you like it. (Especially since it only costs one carm notch)
3. The lumafly lantern isn't too important right now, but it makes one of the biggest areas in the game a lot easier. (And unlocks a few other areas)
4. Check on Myla every time you get a new ability (Not spell)
5. The signs that are everywhere are for pointing where to go to get to "the city" that the NPC's keep mentioning.
6. Theres a small place you might want to explore to the left of where you currently are at the stag station.
That boss was the first boss i ever fought i didnt have any availabilitys so i could not jump over it
I just wanted to say you did phenomenal on Brooding Mawlek. You were underleveled, too, and completed it without frustration in one of your first tries. That thing took me 10 tries to beat, with more advanced weaponry.
Oh god meeting those worms never gets old :3
Merg: oh I'm gonna visit you constantly myla!
Me: ohhhhhh noooooo
When your watch later is only filled with merg's hollow nights cause you have been behind lately
Later on there will be a charm called full focus. Paired with quick focus it makes an insanely good combination
I honestly cant imagine you maintaining your sanity in the grub room after you get them all...
13:26 Oh and... Uu... Dudu... Budu... Budu... Swupu...
22:06 Poodle-Looking-Slime-Noodle.
25:28 Cowmbat..?
34:30 I fought this boss before Hornet... I got pretty u p s e t . . . (i had no Quick Heal - i didnt have time to heal)
34:44 HOW in the fiery pits of hell!?
46:50 Stop turning into Waluigi you meme of a cherry.

@@Merg it is amazing how you take time for your fans (and good quality content) i really dont understand where the 1m subs is at!
@@tijldeschermer2716 I agree. It really is amazing how he seems to take his time to look through So many comments and like them and sometimes reply. One of the things I think is really neat about them! It shows they care about their subscribers.
@@chipsandbot9444Ikr!
I just got that
A geocache is a hidden treasure you find. The cash is called geo in this game and you have to find it...
Woah
Looks like Team Cherry is really kind to you
Hehe
From this point forward it is now law to call them “Wormies”
Another video-another best day of my life
thx merg
thorns of agony is a very useful charm and I highly recommend having it on for combat.
You can dash in Terraria🤔
You can dash in Cuphead🤔
And you can dash in Hollow Knight🤔
Coincidence?
I THINK NOT
IAm FuzzyDolphin YES, maybe. But that’s just a theory, a GAME theory, thanks for reading
Don't forget that's literally the main mechanic in celeste lol
Does terraria have a dash?
Edit: do mean with the lightning boots?

Quick Focus is my favorite charm and I find it highly underrated. There are a lot of fast boss fights that quick focus makes so much more easy
I've not seen the Hollow Knight videos
I’m sure you are gonna make me love this game hehe ❤️
Megalomaniac believe he will. I like your profile picture btw :D
ERROR 404 well,he actually did it
I have watched 2 videos of this game since that comment and I felt in love with it :D
And thanks! ;)
@@paolabst9917 I hope you've played it by now, and weren't *too* spoiled
It never even occurred to me to pogo over those spikes before Mawlek.
I think Salubra is a slug, but I'm not really sure
She’s actually just melted Icecream
I think you are the only person in existance that tried to do that without wall jumping
Thorns of agony is surprisingly useful, but you should probably use it only in combat
Mushroom:WAH!
Walugi:WAH!
And they became family
I always anticipate that day of the week, The day max plays hollow knight: 3
This playthrough is amazing. You and the game seem to be made for each other)
Gathering swarm gives you a chance ro buy more charms
Charm that makes enemy's give more geo + gathering swarm + soul catcher
M o n e y
@@duck-cc4qu when did soul catcher give geo 😂
Brooding Mawlek without a good nail can be a big bully for the first 3 tries to kill her
I was going to say "him", but I followed a line of reasoning very simple (and half idiot) that:
brooding = chocando (in my country).
"He" is rarely something that "brood" (shock, hatch).
