Good morning this is Jesus Rivera thanks for all information about now i will fixing this issue. My daughter loves hers 🚗
good luck with the repair - Our VW is still going strong! Headed to Florida soon from OHIO
Yes! So why would a shop not just replace the assembly instead of the individual fans? They charged for 2 fans and took two days to get my car back.
Good job on the beetle and nice video. Thanks
Awesome! Thanks for the video. Might try this myself.
Where did you purchase the fan assembly? Trying to find one for a 2014 Jetta 1.8
Amazon - I put a link above - I also found some on e-bay during my search
Where did you get the intake set up. Thanks for the information. Mine just went out
How can your intake go out? Anyway, I purchased the APR system from HS tuning in Wesltake Ohio, they also reprogramed the computer
How long did this take you? Wondering if I can attempt this myself - thank you! And great video.
Thanks for the question. I went back a couple years at the time stamps for this video. It took me about 1 hour to do this job- it's pretty simple. The lift makes it really easy.
Awesome, thanks so much!
Great video. I just would like to know if it can it be removed from the top of car?
Thanks but I didn't see a way to do it.
Do you think this could be done on ramps? Trying to provide some long distance help to my daughter…
@@bobd9868 thanks for the comment. My ramp days are long gone. Maybe when I was younger. It would not be fun but might be possible
Good Day sir, my engine temp goes up to 95 -100 degree celcius, i was told this is not normal. i am driving a 2013 VW Beetle 1.2 tsi. my workshop told me that the BIG fan has high speed and lower speed, and apparently mine only had one which is not normal. is this true? and if i change, can i change the big fan only without interrupting the smaller fan?
thank you.
Thanks for the comment, I am not a trained VW mechanic. I am just a guy working out in the garage on my cars. In my opinion I would change the whole assembly (both fans) to save the labor of doing it twice when the other fan fails since they are both the same age. the cost is not much more for the assembly and labor would be the same. As far as temp for your engine - I would consult with a mechanic, it does seem high but there are many things that could cause that... thermostat, coolant pump, debris in front of radiator, and yes the fans.
Your link don’t work
Sorry I posted this over a year ago, I’m sure you can search Amazon or eBay to find yourself
