Great work! The way the gas filler area could be interchanged was awesome. The only thing is that the depression for the finger to get into remains on the new panel. I hope no one tries to open manually and breaks the lid mechanism. This car has been certainly a Pandora’s box but now it’s set for at least 50 more years; if the world makes it that long 😉.
All looking good. How's the other side? Was all the rot just on the right?? Also, how do you connect the heater tube onto the outlet from the front of the heater channel?
Hi Matt, ideally you would fit the pipe before the front quarter panel goes on. But if you forget like Mark it is possible to feed it down through the inside of the quarter panel & then guide it on to the heater channel with your finger through the hole on the bottom of the A pillar. Hope that helps :D
