smaller countries with less borders tend to win because they cant be invaded in all directions. so it might take some time before Idaho wins (I tested this theory)

If Maine gets picked, NH gets screwed.
Idaho has a 2% chance to win so there’s a good chance it will be a while until it does.
NH has some of the worst luck tbh, if Maine gets picked then it has to be nh, but the only way to get rid if maine is for nh to be picked AND go west, though an advantage of new england is that New York sort of shields you from the rest if the usa. Mass has a similar thing with RI where if they invade Connecticut it's even harder for them to get rid of ri and ri can only take them out

I reckon what Simulated should do with this series to make it more balanced is each state you control the more chances you have to take over. So if you have 3 states in your empire you have 3 spots on the wheel. Idk i just think that would make it a lot more interesting

That’s what makes it fun though. You still have a chance at winning even if you get unlucky in the beginning.

When you're doing the attacks, you should do a spin to see which country wins. Half of these attacks don't even make sense that one country would win over another.

Have you ever thought about reallocating the losing states into the winning states?
IE, if Utah wins the first round, then they have two spots on the wheel for second round. Then, if Idaho wins the second round and defeats Utah, then Idaho would have three spots on the wheel for the third round.
I was rooting for Illinois (where I grew up) and Wisconsin (where I’m going to college) so that was a rough 15 seconds there

I have a suggestion, say Idaho takes over Montana and then Washington challenges Idaho, you should have another wheel with Idaho having two spots and Washington one, for amount of states owned, just to make the big empires more powerful

You should do a battle royale of the American states, getting different size wedges of the wheel that are equivalent to the sizes of the states, themselves. This would give Alaska the biggest wedge of the wheel, since they are the biggest state to begin with and this would make Alaska an S tier state, since they also only have one neighbor, Washington, that could attack them. Washington, on the other hand, has at least C tier size with some bigger neighbors to deal with and if they get picked twice, going south both times, they get California, the third biggest state, but Washington would still have to deal with the biggest independent state as their weakness: if Alaska gets picked, Washington gets screwed, so Washington's chance of winning remains C tier. California is likely a B tier state, despite being the third biggest in the U.S. because that entire region has lots of A teir state sizes and either one of those states can build S tier empires really fast, but California still has the weakness of being Hawaii's only neighbor. If Hawaii gets picked to attack, California gets screwed. Hawaii would likely be at least a B tier state with a chance at taking down a massive state, but Hawaii's weakness is its size, so it's only B tier. Every state that conquers should have a scale model size wedge that matches the size of themselves and their neighbors, combined, in terms of the percentage. According to these rules, the odds would be seemingly impossible for Alaska to place dead last, since Washington would have to be the first state picked with only C teir size and they can only attack Alaska, going north-west.
