Hi Chris, I'm Steve, a fellow DAA member for the last 7 years and previous member of the Cotswold Fly Fishers as well and currently applied to the Taunton Fly Fishers for the River Tone not that far from Bury, near Dulverton where I stay, so was good to see.

Another really great video Chris. Great editing and fantastic scenery. I find myself following every cast and watching where the fly lands just wishing for that rise to happen. Staggeringly low water levels and this is the same at the reservoir where I fish, it's only June and i've never seen the water so low. Looking forward to the next outing. Thanks

Nice video Chris, it's true what they say about trout fishing taking us to some lovely spots but that looked difficult verging on the impossible. We've also struggled with low water levels this season, it just makes approaching the fish so difficult! Keep up the good work .

I've often said that if you want to see how bad the roads are, cycle on them, and if you want to see the effects of climate change, fish the same river for a few seasons. I have never seen the water as low as it is now in 30+ years of fishing the rivers and streams of Scotland. Yes, we have the occasional drought, but never like this, year after year. There is a degree of mis-management, but I live in a country famed for its rain, but the river is so low that its barely worth casting a line. I still will though, obviously.
