Nobody demos a pedal like andy, he takes the time to figure out everything it does and demonstrates it beautifully Not only one of the forefathers of pedal demos, but still the best in the game
He’s good for clean demos but not dirt. No guitar pick means whatever dirt and fuzz he demos are going to be much darker and duller than for any normal player.
You have the best demos. You find an arrange of sounds from these pedals that give us options without having to figure it ourselves. Not a review, just the pedal. You helped me figure out what the Ancient Echoes can do. Thanks
Just noticing that some settings really encourage you to play a little slower and play “into the sound” to get the most out of it rather than necessarily playing faster/funk rhythms. Depends on how you have it set, of course.
For the love of god, can pedal manufacturers stop making their two modes red vs green on the LED? You're killing us out here! -Signed, the Colorblind Guitarist Community (the pedal does sound great though)
The idea for Riptide was inspired by the H90 Factory Preset "Indigo Fog" which uses the Weedwacker and Even-Vibe algorithms. Riptide includes a few differences from this Program, both the Drive and Vibe sounds have alternate voicings that are not available on the H90.
Wasn’t really impressed with the Univibe sounds. The Vibrato side was very nice, but for me it’s a pass. Maybe it’s because I’m so freaking enamored of my recent pick up of a Weaver Midnight Vibe, who knows…

I could listen to you play on that vibe setting all day. That was fantastic.
Strymon has some competition
Sometimes you have to just turn these off and look for other videos because Andy makes EVERYTHING sound good.

I feel your pain, brother.
Nice Guitar Andy -
Seasicky in all the right ways. 😺👍
Is it based on the Evenvibe algorithm found in the H90?
Yes

@@EventideAudioHa, Indigo Fog = Purple Haze. I see what you did there
@@EventideAudio very clear, thank you for this complete answer.
