That's because of frizz and dryness, I have the same problem too I started to use coconut oil and it's a miracle I really recommend you to use it too

I never knew why my mom gave me egg, coconut oil, and aloe Vera hair asks when I was younger! I’m grateful she inflicted these habits onto me since I was a child ❤

my mom too, always applying aloe vera since I was little and my hair is thick and healthy but now since I’m always stressed bcs of school and manu otherbthjngs my hair falls a lot and dry but oily in the scalp so I tried to take care of my hair naturally, because I once try chemical hair products and my hair condition is more worse😅
tip #1: coconut oil treatment (select a high-quality, organic virgin coconut oil, apply coconut oil and leave for 30 minutes+, rinse thoroughly, style your hair as usual)
tip #2: apple cider vinegar rinse (use final rinse of apple cider vinegar and water after shampooing on your scalp, massage it, rinse it with lukewarm water, use it once or twice a week)
tip #3: aloe vera gel (apply it on your scalp, massage the gel into your scalp gently, leave it on for 30 minutes-1 hour, rinse with lukewarm water and shampoo afterwards)
tip #4: egg mask (cracking one or two eggs into a bowl, whisk, apply to damp hair, massage, leave it on for 20-30 minutes, rinse it out with lukewarm water and mild shampoo and conditioner afterwards)
tip #5: avocado mask (mash a ripe avocado into a bowl until smooth, add a tbsp of olive oil, mix well, apply on damp hair, massage into your scalps gently, leave it on for 30 minutes, rinse it out with lukewarm water, use shampoo afterwards)
tip #6: honey hair mask (mix equal parts of honey and warm water into a bowl, apply on damp hair, massage into your scalp, leave it on for 20-30 minutes, rinse the hair mask with shampoo and conditioner
tip #7: use hat or scarf when going outside, avoid heat and chemical treatments (bleaching,coloring, perming), use a heat protectant spray or serum before using heat styling tools, avoid exessive heat and opt for lower heat settings whenever possible, protect your hair from the sun´s UV rays, avoid overwashing, use a wide-tooth comb or a brush with soft bristles to detangle wet hair gently)

So, in order to use any hair oils such as the coconut oil shown in the video, you first have to find your hair porosity, which is like knowing your skin type so that you can find the correct skincare products for you. For example, if you have low porosity hair like I do, I wouldn't recommend using coconut oil, I'd rather replace it with other types of oil like argon oil!
Just to clarify, I am not trying to sound mean, just trying to give an extra tip!!

I need help. I think I have frizzy and slightly dry hair but I also have a bunch of small strands or curly hair that poke up around my head while the rest of my longer hair is loose wavy. Idrk what that means or how that happened 😭😭
My hair was also like that too. Its just your curl pattern, so its normal for alot of people including me. You can either brush it out, or just scrunch your hair when its wet so it can have somewhat of a natural pattern

Yes , same for me . Grapeseed oil and jojoba oil suits more for low porosity hair . (Btw , I also have low porosity hair)

Apple cidar vinegar causes a dry scalp.
It might cause the hair to dry out as it's highly acidic tho I've never tried it as it smells very unpleasant.

if its oily flakes, wash ur hair more often and use antifungal shampoo, if its dry wash ur hair less often and use gentle shampoos
Apple cider vinegar on your scalp. Leave for 5-10 mins and wash out with shampoo. It always works for me
