It is still insane to me that this franchise exists, but I'm glad it does. It's like a rip-off of the World of Darkness Pen & Paper RPG, mixed with 90s style action ripped from The Matrix. But I think what actually makes it work is Kate Beckinsale. She's obviously gorgeous and she can do the action, but she can also act and sell emotion. The ending here where she realizes she can stand in the sunlight is brilliant.
I believe the reason William didn’t attack Marcus was because Marcus at this point had lycan blood he was a hybrid hence William recognised his own flesh and blood which showed that maybe perhaps if Marcus had given his blood to William than perhaps he would’ve become a werewolf/vampire hybrid and might’ve had the ability to turn back.
the "flashbacks" are not that, they are memories... if a Vampire drinks your blood, he gets the memories from u, so they are showing him looking at what others did, to know what to do, like Kraven with the computer... if a Lycan bites u, u get the memories from that Lycan... i know it can be hard to follow, but it's for good reasons
hahaha without a doubt we all fell in love with Selene when we saw these movies, in addition to being very pretty she is a very tough character, she is among my top favorite female characters in action movies, the first three underworld movies are great, the best moment of the saga was there, good reaction.

I would love you to see the behind the scenes or costume design for the franchise. it is epic to see how much was practical effects and not all CGI. some effects are better because they learned how to do the practical effect better in the years between each movie. Most of the time even Marcus's wings are partially costume with animitronics and wire rigs with just a little CGI.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned the third movie is epic I found the third I’d probably say is second best, first movie has my heart, A good one but I’ll leave you with a fun facts in real life Kate beckonsale was married to the director len weissman they were getting a messy divorce so the franchise said let’s do a prelude then we don’t beed either of them right now. like crazy and irn real life so they couldn’t work together going through a divorce rise of the Lycian might be my favourite ❤️ Except the first that shiz was so awesome movie, but don’t worry Selene is back in all her glory for the final.2 movies I’m so glad that you enjoy these movies as much as the I do. Doesn’t hurt to have a handsome guy makes you laugh 🩷
