This is my favorite vampire movie franchise of all time. This movie was great we get more on Amelia in this film and next to Selene she's my favorite character in the franchise. Amelia was the least represented of the thre original Elders but she was by far the Greatest of all. According to the movies and novelizations she was a benevolent, kind ruler of bravery and honor and love for her people (the Vampires). After her death she is said to have been mourned by the Nordic Coven, Eastern Coven, New World Coven and Western and even Old World Covens as well by almost all of the Vampire Nation and Species, only selective vampires mourned Viktor while non seem to be that upset by Marcus' demise. My only wish is that the films or novelizations gave us more Amelia depiction and backstory than what we were given. Still the Best Vampire/Werewolf movies in my opinion.
I think what Underworld franchise needs now are creators/writers who actually love & respected the original established characters to give a good sequel or an epic ending. Kinda like what the creators of Cobra Kai are doing with the Karate Kid franchise now. "Cobra Kai treatment" for Underworld franchise is paramount now. Let's spread the word.

Awakening was so-so.
Blood Wars I really couldn't follow. Watched this in the Cinema when it first came out.
