Apparently Follin's music was written just to see what he could do with the system. I heard that he'd just write the music, and put it into the game, regardless of what it was about. That explains the Solstice theme, and Puzznic for the Amiga. Either way, it was, without a doubt, badass.

I've always assumed that 8-bit composers of the period - David Whittaker, Rob Hubbard, Tim Follin etc - used to just write lots and lots of music in their spare time, and send it off whenever they had a commission. Otherwise they wouldn't have been able to keep up with the workload.

    Aaaah, this track ROCKS!
This game really put me through my paces back in the day... and I probably ruined an NES controller over the damn thing - but the good music kept me playing all the way through it.
    *rocks out in nostalgia-land

@Vebinz I used to love playing this game, every 10 seconds I was dead until I learned the patterns of each enemy, it became a breeze after that and this game started to grow on me.

    To get Tim to return:
Let him compose whatever tunes he wants on the best real instrument sound chip.
Build a game around the tunes that match his quality.
A video game that would blow the gaming industry today out of the water.
