I was just following a tutorial to hack my psp and it got bricked. I think it was because i have hacked it in the past and was trying it over again. I thought there was no hope in fixing it and was frustrated. Thank you for this video man

When I do this it takes my PSP-1000 to 'M33 Recovery Menu', my issue is that when I load the console normally, it does everything normal until the date comes up.. and all of my buttons are disabled, I cannot move up nor down to set the date, nor can I press X to confirm the settings, so I am essentially stuck at this point, but when I insert my memory stick, the psp's screen stays black, it's only when you remove the card that it boots to the date settings. [the game folder homebrew I have installed on the console is a 4.XX Kernal, but when I click on that in recovery configuration, it says I have '1.50 Kernel' installed, however, I believe whoever owned this console before me formatted the card]... so I'm at a loss,
Reformat your memory card the card may have a bug that tweaks out it happen to me before

I lost the battery for my psp , when I try to turn it on by connecting it to a charger only the green light turns on . The display doesnt even start . What should I do ?

I think it is completely bricked , so ordering a battery will solve the issue ? Or I will have to order a pandora battery ?

I have two psp's and I happen to have spares to test if mine is soft bricked or perma bricked. It's fixable but it will be a headache. You wouldn't find out until you get a new battery. I know you don't want to spend money but it's the only way to find out

@@RetroCudi No... I gave up on trying to fix it. I’ve tried so many different ways but none of them have fixed my problem. I can get it up and running with a cable connected to a TV but not without the cable and TV. I think I will give it a try again so I can take it with me on my travels when this whole pandemic settles down again.
@@MagnusSpang I wish I can see everyone problems and what you are trying. Its easier to understand and figure out what's going. I can imagine so much. Last thing I can think of is to change the battery and connect it to the pc and see if it can communicate with your pc or take out the sd card and factor reset it on the pc. Factory reset is the best solution

Retro The Rideshare Gamer ok, so this is what i do, i turn it on, then, the light shows up and the screen doesnt even turn on, then, very rare, it turns on but freezes in boot up. But in very very rare ocasions, it boots up succesfully but then frezes. I dont think its a battery issue as when i charge it, it does the same thing. Please help me! Would be so glad! Thanks!

Have you tried my method. I've never experienced that before. When did you start noticing that do you remember what you were doing before that happened. I might help if we know what may have lead to this issue

I installed games on my PSP 2000, i was playing quite alot then all of a sudden it stopped turning on, the green light turns on and sometimes the screen is lit up but black and rarely it turns on but a few moments later it just freezes. I was told it is the battery but i am not sure, i would love if anyone could assist me please.
P.S I don't know what flashing is and i don't think i did so.
Sometimes if you have too many games it will do that try deleting a couple of games, put sd card into the pc

Yes it is annoying have a couple on my screen & its very tiny. I still play on it but mostly use it for mp3 usage. I do recommend getting a replacement just in case if the current one goes out completely. Its pretty easy to replace the LCD screen & also very easy to break or damage the LCD connector

Okay, make sure you are charging your battery. In the beginning of this video I've explained that you would need charged psp it doesn't have to be %100 maybe %10 charged
If it's not charging you might need to see if your charger cord is damaged or battery is no good anymore

@@nelyginp.7787 it will work with me I would do reverse engineering I will use soldering techniques & make a alternative connections to read and rewrite the psp, but that's just me. Usually other youtubers will show the easy route just because the way I do it has a 50/50 chance of breaking the psp if your not careful enough. I already did the read and rewrite & soldering unfortunately I haven't recorded it because I never thought to record it for a youtube video 😅 I wish I've did. It was a project, my friend wanted me to fix his 3000 model, I just created a pin port so we don't need to keep soldering a connection port to unbrick it

my psp got stuck on pro recovery mode after i changed the housing cover. How to fix ?
How that can be. Was it already jailbroken. If so it's kinda tricky to revert back to normal psp software and itll corrupt in recovery
@@RetroCudi it is already jb, problem solved already. Its seems it stuck on recovery because i put a 64gb sdcard, Took some time to load the storage, Take it out, let it boot into system , and then put it back on. Working rn, But it got some ghost touch after i changed the housing. Not sure what the problem is.

@@technobill2853 it's rare if you may have corrupted Infiniti remove sd card and try that method you might have to reformat your sd card

nothing happened
All depends on which boot state the psp is in. For example soft Bricked you do it the way I did it. If it's device bricked you'll need to use your pc. The way I do it Its HOME-POWER-R trigger Hold those 3 about 15 secs max and Min 6 secs
For me. Take out ur SD card and take out ur batteries. Then plug in ur charger. Then put the battery back in.. That's how mine work

Open up your psp and clean the inside were the button are at. Maybe a lint or sticky stuff got inside under the buttons. Must need cleaning Rubbing alchohol is recommended
