Description
I have recently gotten into 3d printing and painting miniatures and was looking for a fun way to store my "Welcome Pack" minis from Loot Studios #NotSponsored. I thought this would be a much more fun way to store them than if they were just sitting on a shelf.

Looks great! One thing that I do for like the set pieces is glue the table and chairs onto the clear plastic people use for projectors, that way they are stuck down but are moveable
That's a great idea!
Did something similar, last Christmas printed out a book nook of an alleyway I found on thingiverse, resin printed it, printed and painted an extra copy of every dnd heroforge character my wife had played, and some mobs. Put them all in, added some self soldered flickering LEDs and it was a nice gift to go on the bookshelf.
That sounds amazing!
So you can really deepen the paintjob with a basic Brown or amber wash on your textures but other than that amazing job and a great idea!
Now this is good thinking.
Wow, this came out amazing! Great job :)
Thank you!
This is a very nice build. I have a couple of thoughts, but please take them as constructive ones as I do really like your display piece. I feel that your stairs would be much better if they had a landing half way up and turned around the corner. This means that the stairs are going somewhere and also gives some height for a model or two. My only other thought is that brick construction only really became common in Victorian times with industrial techniques. Prior to that most lower class buildings were made from wattle and daub - which also looks very cool through missing plaster.
I've been wanting to make a tavern book nook. I'll have to actually get around to doing it now.
Definitely do it!
Looks fabulous!
Thanks!
I love stuff like this
Thanks!
Super fun build, I subbed and will remain so if you make more crafting vids.
Thank you!
Oh he’s gonna make more!
Just incredible!
Thank you!
Fantastic build, Subbing in the hopes of more crafting videos!
They will definitely be coming but will be much less frequent since they take so much time to do. Thanks!
Hell yeah my guy this is perfect
Thanks!
Just randomly stumbled across your channel Great work on the tavern Hope to see you do more dioramas in the future
Thank you! There will be more in the future for sure 😊
Hey mate, what a fun project. Just 2 tips for your mentioning on being new in painting. I think your pieces would really profit from a good wash and highlight. It would in some easy steps give it a lot more depth.
Thanks!
Great project and very reusable. I love these kinds of crafting projects.
Thanks!
This is really cool and neat ! Thank you for sharing ! I'm glad youtube just decided to drop this on my feed :)
I want to get into dioramas sometime, i'm sure it would enhance the ttrpg experience a thousand times.
Thanks for the kind words. This was my first attempt and it was a lot of fun. 10/10 would recommend.
Looks great!
Thank you!
Looks great! Im waiting to get paid again so I can buy some tools and supplies to start crafting myself! Hopefully will get a Proxxon eventually but I have a wedding to save for! Thanks for the video! smart idea with the plaster and I think the paint looks good!
Thanks and good luck with the wedding!
For 'how to' without a proxxon, check out Wyloch or Black Magic Craft - both have put out 'how to get started' videos. You can definitely get by without a proxxon (I don't have the space for one, so sharp knife it is)
@@uriance88 excellent recommendations. They are both fantastic and provide excellent examples for how to do things without. Thanks!
@@uriance88 thanks! Yeah I've actually been digging deep on both of their videos but must have missed those! Cheers
Great job!
Thanks!
I would suggest that you look for a cheap picture frame that fits the diorama and slotting it ontop. Part of the reason for it is to protect your work because the foamcore isn't that sturdy there and it also makes it look more complete.
This looks so so cool ❤
Thanks!
Very nicely built. Kudos, Mikey V.
Very cool!
Thanks!
Love the video, I've been getting into more diorama pieces and was curious where you buy your XPS foam from?
I buy it from my local hardware store. It happens to be Lowes but Home Depot also carries it near me.
Fabulous work, this scene came out lovely. I'm excited to see what you come up with in the future. Something incorporating your newfound love of the mini aspect and the long-form campaign work as well perhaps?
Thanks for the kind words!
Awesome Video, I hope you make the rest of the Tavern in future Episodes?
Do you have a name for your Tavern?
How about the "Duck and Wizard" 🤣
I don't have a name for it. Thanks for the suggestion.
May I use this as basis for one of my drawings? It looks spectacular.
Yes for sure. I'd love to see it once it is finished.
This was a lot of fun to watch come together! Excellent work. Do you have plans to make more dioramas?
Thanks! I do have some plans, yeah. There are a few other groups of minis that I have that will be fun to do something similar.
A hey! I know you! Thanks for supporting my yeti
It's a miniature loading screen
Stop saying Eileen's tacky glue.
