I am a DM for middle schoolers at a public library - been playing for about a year now and just want you to know that your videos and notion have really made things clear for me (for the first time)! I genuinely appreciate your videos and resources! You've made the game more exciting for a bunch of middle schoolers in rural Oregon :)

I enjoy your work though I've found that it almost feels like your racing through the episodes with the speed you read at. I found it much more enjoyable to listen at .9 speed, slowing it down slightly just feels more like a proper narrative instead of someone trying to get through something.

FINALLY GEEZE LOUISE SLOW POKE

It looks like the party has no way of debuffing foes or moving foes away from vulnerable allies, which causes most of the battles to devolve into what i call 'punching matches' which in D&D terms is trying to hit the enemy for enough damage to take them out before the enemy does the same thing to you. It can very effective, but in the long run the saminess of the battles make it kind of boring.

Great review of the product, I was contemplating buying the guide or building my own. You review showed me how simple it would be to construct the same guide out of wood. Especially since one has to put the whole thing together anyways. I have all the wood already from other project so there would be 0 cost. Probably not what shift lands wants to hear.

Still loves this adventure. It is surprisingly soothing and interesting at the same time. And that is thanks to the narrator - really well done.

Doing the level up descriptions during their night watch was a nice touch! Most would hand wave this, or meta describe what they did. In-character is more interesting. Question, just for discussion: with the coming of the 2024 rules, what are your plans?

The dagger of venom in that dungeon would of been a great weapon upgrade for Finn. Glade to have the party back at it.

I can't believe i missed this. Wasn't subscribed at the time (just changed that), and a lot was going on a the time that these videos stopped appearing on my recommended feed and i forgot to take a look for them. Now i have to catch up.
