if you're going to go through all the effort to squeeze the light behind the grill, just do it right and take the grill completely off so you dont risk breaking your plastic grill.....
You said perfectly what I was thinking 🤔, makes no sense doing it this way
I know the plastic grill is $150.00 now.
Nice to know what size bolts what tools are needed
2 bolts to remove heaedlamp from mount bracket, then not removing and bending grill outwards. Never taken one bolt out of grill before when working in garage to change any single light in front end, including corner lights.
This is for removing the entire headlight assembly. Not just for removing the headlights themselves.
Personally I needed this because one of the two bolts on my passenger side is stripped and I am unable to remove the headlight.
What size is the nut size my man most people don't take the time to tell what size socket is needed not unless I wasn't paying attention. good video

The video shows you installing new light assembly, but a the end of the video the top head lamp assembly is old and faded.
I didn't know all of that was part of the headlights housing. I'm talking about the one for the gmc
Any idea what size the mounting bolts for the headlights are?
+@Blacklabels686 We do not have this measurement available. They will be the same as the OE bolts. You may try contacting your local dealership's parts department to determine this information.

No one ever shows the passenger side headlight replacement. The driver side is easy.

You did this completely wrong. You only need to remove the two vertical bolts to remove headlight. You should delete this video and repost correctly
This is for removing the entire headlight assembly. Not just for removing the headlights themselves. One of my two pins are stripped on the passenger side of my truck so I need this.
