Great vlog, love the beach to the left of the hotels. We often get the bus to the Grandes Playas and then walk back to Corralejo along the beach. Takes about an hour and the views are spectacular. The kite surfers are amazing to watch later in the afternoon too.
Thanks for the lovely reminder of how beautiful the beach and the sea is there. We have had so many excellent family holidays in the Oliva Beach Hotel there. Hope to be back soon. 😁

Sotavento is amazing when the tide is right up! Unfortunately I haven’t experienced that yet when I went it was very low 😂🤦🏼♂️ Amazing that I managed to get on a bus and didn’t lose anything this time 🙌🏻

Hi Mike, thanks for watching! The weather will be around 22-25c that time of year, it’s really nice still! 🌞 I’d recommend getting an apartment as there is so many brilliant cafes and restaurants locally in the town you should try; for example El Patio (steak house) Peperone pizza (pizza) El Pescador in the music square etc and there are so many great places to drink too! It’s definitely a town where you should get out and about and not be stuck in a hotel 😊
My favourite beach is Playa del Aguila, south of Cotillo although now they have removed most of the jeopardy of descending the rickety steps down to the beach, I suspect it will become more popular.
Yes I love this beach! And I agree about the steps!! 😂 I do think not many people know about this beach though, maybe we should make a video on it one day 🤔
Used to go there in the 80s and 90s. We 👩🏽🤝👨🏾 could get a 'decent' 😉 tan there but had to be careful of extremities in windy conditions, you'd get a sandblast even if not required 🤭
@@NomadBrothersTravel whole place was different in 80s. We had friends we'd visit (7 in a Fiat Panda) in el Cotillo, think there was only the 'Blue Bull' and a pizza bar to eat. They had a really small sort of cottage on the slope down to blue bull. Never locked their doors, car or house.
Where do I catch the No6 bus out off Corralejo, and where does it drop you? Another question if you can stand it, how often do the buses run? I’m coming over in October, got to go there!
You can take the no.6 from near to Centro Salud (like I did) but also at the top of the Main Street just past retro at the roundabout, it stops there too! And you get off near the RIU Hotels, at the roundabout by the aloe vera museum and small hiperdino as you can see in the video! You can ask the driver to give you a warning when to get off 😊

Go if you can to the lagoons, to the right of Faro del Tostón, north of El Cotillo. 20 min ride from Corralejo. You won't be dissspointed.

They’ve completely taken away the huts so maybe they don’t ever return? Who knows. There is still the one beach bar though as you see in this video
