Goosebumps and tears in my eyes every time I listen to this album. No bad songs, perfect production, and so much detail in the drumming. One of my top 5 albums ever. A masterpiece.
The boss hm-2 distortion pedal made the swedish death metal chainsaw guitar tone the best of all time. it's so disgustingly bad that it's awesome. Still bands decades later mimicking this sound \m/

Best death metal album vocally that truly had no vocalist. They didn’t know what to do so Nikki Anderson, the drummer, decided to lay all the vocals down and it became the best album vocally they had ever done. In my opinion. I call it the best death metal album vocally that had no vocalist. 😂
Death Metal as it's supposed to be!!! Left Hand Path and Clandestine are essentials...but I do love To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth as well. Death 'n' Roll! Please check out their friends in Dismember - Dreaming in Red: ruclips.net/video/eOkE38kWAIw/видео.html
Loved this album ... definitely check out more from this release there are actually even better ones on it. They are melodic death metal before it went melodic. If that makes any sense lol. Not an overrated band but this disc is definitely overlooked it’s absolutely solid
T, if you're liking this Swedish Death Metal. I need to suggest an absolute (Absolut? HA! It's a Swedish brand) masterpiece: "Crimson" by Edge of Sanity.
Un buen death metal ,te recomiendo a morbid angel en su disco covenant aunque su discografia base es una experiancia muy intensa al oido ,Saludos desde mexico
Clandestine has always been the better album to me! No disrespect to Left Hand Path, I am left handed after all so I can’t disgrace this album, but the songs just felt so tightened up on their 2nd record. Wish they did more in this chainsaw guitar sound, but I’ll forever be happy about early Pestilence, Dismember, and Entombed for laying down this style with perfection.
I'm not a big fan of death metal, just not my bag man. I dabbled with the genre back in my 20s. I lived in Tampa Bay in the 80s/90s, where and when death metal was brought to life, (probably with a sacrifice or 3). Back then, I partied with the guys from 'Death' & a few other bands. I even jammed with some guys that played in death metal bands every now & then... But now, at 50, I prefer the clasic metal, the bands that I remember from my yputh, and the songs that I can understand what they're saying through all that gravel in their throat. Haha, just a little ball bustin' for my DM bros...Metal is Metal, it comes in many different shapes, sizes, & colors, just like people, but it's all Metal, and Metal is good. 🤘💀🤘 *** HEY T...I started this comment, just to say this... "Hey T, cool thumbnail!" LOL! 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry for the rant... Wife's outta town, she even took the dog. I'm alone with a cat & going a bit loopy... I just miss my dog, lol. Ok, later! 🙃
