YES!!!!! HIT KINGS LANDING FIRST THEN FIRST THE WAR OF DEAD AND LIVING!!!!
@@jayson1geek479 I get D&D were putting all their chips on the Mad Queen narrative, and since we'll probably never find out how it's actually meant to go in the books, I just think the biggest emotional bang for the buck as far as endings would've gone would've been the Battle of Winterfell, the defeat of the Night King and the dead, and the somber catharsis of the funeral afterwards. It's an infinitely more satisfying bow to tie it all up with.

I- what more was Theon to do? 😩😂... He did what he promised to do which was defend and protect Bran until his dying moment... Shit he did more than enough, he came full circle... RIP to a real one.
A good man
Arya's training as a faceless man taught her to fight and to not be heard or seen. Watch when the white walkers are standing behind the NK and right before you see Arya, one of the white walker's hair blew in the wind like someone went past him and then he turned his head like what was that and then you see Arya in the air...It was epic. I loved the fact that they gave it to Arya vs Jon. Next...I agree, Cersai could be worse. And don't forget about...Ummm, Dany, I'm Aegon Targaryen. How will Dany deal with that?
Bran also glances towards where she comes from, and the Night King pauses and loses confidence as it is happening. Bran saw it coming, arguably he set it up.
Ned would be so proud of his kids right now. Especially Arya!
Rob needs to put respect on Theons name. One of the best developed characters. Swear he always hates these characters or simply can’t understand them🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Because he's dumb as a man can be
He'd still be hating on Jaime if he didn't knight Brienne.
Theon was the only reason arya could deal the final blow. And Bran knew that he had to die to let arya kill the night king, thats why he said "ur home" and "ur a good man"
Not really. Anybody could have taken Theon's spot
@@joshuagreen6871 not really, a slight change in the past can change the present/future drastically. Bran saw the future and knew that it had to be theon.
Joshua Green I wish it was Jon who was there with Bran though!
@@RTProductionz Bran can not see the future. Only the past and present. And he uses that to help shape the future. Theon was a good choice, but not the best choice. He needed someone loyal(which Theon somewhat is) and someone who would at least zigzag his way to the Night King.
ARYA KILLED IT THO and Respect on Jon that He was trying to control the ICE dragon. ROOOOBBB YO THEON KILLED SO MANY WHITE WALKERS FOR BRAN FOR HIS FAMILY AND HE KNEW HE CAN'T WIN AGAINST THE KNIGHT KING
By far the best reaction I’ve seen to Arya killing the night king!
"THAT'S MY DAUGHTA!" Also, Bran said in the last episode that the Night King will come for him. His whole purpose was to stay there and wait for him because he knew he'd come. He is also the one who gave the dagger to Arya at that same weirwood tree in 7x04. He pretty much did the same thing with how he was waiting for Jaime the night before Jaime came. He can see fragments of the future but I'm guessing that the future changes with small movements. I think that Bran was watching what the Night King was doing throughout the battle and that's why when he was finally coming to him, he came back.
Arya gave that dagger to Sansa.
@@GabbyRN545 Arya gave a normal dragonglass dagger to Sansa. The one she used on the night king was her Valyrian Steel dagger from littlefinger.
Celia H. The only way to kill the night king was with Valyrian steel, Sam also read a book in the citadel that was about that same dagger that Arya killed night king with. She stabbed him in the same place the children of the forest stabbed the night king and created him

I wanna believe Arya killed one of the Lieutenants and was wearing his face, and thats how she got so close to the Night King. I wish they had showed something that hinted towards that in this episode.
In my opinion I think the Night King lost because he seriously understimsted the tenacity and skill of humans. Like when he smiled it showed signs of arrogance, he literally thought he was invincible and was caught off guard in one moment. That was his ultimate downfall.
And because the writing was complete shite

Audience :Fight of the century 🤣🤣🤣 Jon Snow vs Night King
GOT writers : Not Today 😁
He talking like he a badass but let's be real.. he probably would have soiled himself in theons shoes
We literally already knew the Night Kings motivations, I’ve been saying it for years but people kept telling me I was wrong. The Children of the Forest created him to destroy the realms of men. It was clearly stated. Bran confirmed it. But people are still out here saying “But he can’t be dead, we don’t know what he wants! We don’t know his backstory!” Yes, we do. It just doesn’t matter. Because the great evil isn’t magic or monsters, it’s us. The Children created him to fight a war, a war with humans. It must end with us breaking the wheel. For peace, we must stop the war between men. Calling it now, it will end with a council ruling, not a King or Queen. With seven to rule and make decisions. George said years ago that more that one person would sit in the throne, but only now it’s all becoming clear to me. This isn’t about good vs evil.
eram858 shit that sounds like it could be true. But way too predictable !
There's still a lot more to his story. Why was he so fixated on Jon Snow? What is Bran's purpose other than defeating the night king? We know why NK wanted bran dead but we don't know why Bran is there and what is the role of the three-eyed raven? The three-eyed raven before bran made it clear he had a purpose in the ''great war'', what was that purpose other than being bait? Even if they never gave a back story to NK they could've still shed some light on the MASSIVE foreshadowing following Bran, Dany, and Jon Snow, what was the point of spending 7 season foreshadowing and building up to nothing. The episode was great on its own but as a piece of a large story, it fell flat.
Rai I suppose we will have to agree to disagree. I think that it’s breaking tropes and therefore unpredictable. I’m sure more will be revealed.
eram858 Except George has expressly stated in multiple interviews that he hates the idea of a wholly predictable and 1 dimensional bad guy. “The white walkers just want to wipe out man for the sake of wiping out man” is the opposite of what George has been saying. Mark my words, in the TWOW George will teach us that the White Walkers have more complex motivations and backstory than what’s in the show.
Apple I agree with you my only problem is that the story they’re telling us jumped off the events of the books, so you have all this set up directly from the books and the pay offs aren’t there.
What the NK wanted was answered last week by Bran. He wanted an endless night across the world to kill all the living and erase the world and all its history, Bran was his number 1 target because he is the world's memory. Its pretty straightforward in the show. Maybe the books will have more complexity with the arc of the NK
There's not really a Night King in the books so far.
Fuck Bran, not like he tells anyone.
The biggest problems that can wipe out cultures are really simple. Illness, disaster, etc.
I don't think I've seen a single reactor that paid attention during the strategy meeting scene. It's totally bizarre.

Yet, ppl complained not enough died and that they were mad that Arya is the one that did the deed. I thought it was a great episode.
The problem is that this was never apart of Arya's story arc. There were prophecies on who would defeat the army of the dead and Arya never fit those descriptions and she never even saw a white walker before this episode. And of course more people should've died most the characters only purpose was this war. Making the Night King a character who wants to erase the living and memory is just completely shit. It makes him a one dimensional character with no motivations other than killing people. And the way they killed him off easily makes him one of the worst villains on television even though they could’ve had him be one of the best.
Omar_ Elattar. That’s what he was made for tho? By children of the forest so they can be protected from men. People looked too much into it with their strange theories, it’s their own fault for expecting some plot twist or whatever. Martin decided what purpose NK would have and, since he’s the creator of all this, we can’t argue with that. Just my opinion
"What is dead may never die!" R.I.P Theon and to the rest of the fallen. I'm not ready for the next three episodes 🤦🤦😂 Arya said miss me with that shit!
The purpose of the Night king was initially to destroy humankind. He was just a normal human who was kidnapped and transformed by the children of the forest (Small elf like creators that helped Bran meet the one eyed raven in season 4/5) When the first men came to Westeros they started killing all the children/ stealing holly land. They then used their magic to make him so he could defend them. What they didn't understand, was that the night king was an entity of his own and he turned on the children.
The night king and his army where forced back in the battle of the dawn (which happened way before any of the plot in GoT) up north. And their goal was to freeze everything for all of eternity. But the core of what they where created for was still there, erasing humankind. That is why killing bran and any one who holds the title of one eyed raven, is so important.
I'm sorry but mad props to Theon! He redeemed himself when he saved Sansa and kept climbing up. Jon in this episode is pretty useless, where tf was Davos the entire time and how much plot armor did Gendry made cuz some of those character should not be alive as much as I love them.
Anna Banana although I thought brienne and thormund should have died aswell. We forget we still have one more battle to go.
Jon and Danny were trying to take out the Night King's weapon of mass destruction & assassinate him outright if able.
Distracting a undead dragon from burning Winterfell to the ground is commendable.
You forgot there's another war coming
My exact reaction when I saw Arya come through in the clutch
This was literally the most fulfilling reaction. I've watched a couple of reactions and they were ok but I was looking for people to go ballistic at my good sis Arya for finessing the Ice King. So thank yall this is exactly what I asked for and plus we good my good POC panel and I literally haven't seen that yet. So from a fellow black sista THANK YOUUUUUU FOR THIS REACTION.
I'm actually surprised at how few characters died. I was expecting a last minute mad struggle for everyone to climb on a dragon and fly to safety. Kinda like the last helicopter outta Saigon.
A lot of people died too be fair, just not as many notables. Which makes sense, the less main characters alive after this the less they have to work with for the upcoming episodes.
Plot armor
@@bugsybro3011 They pussed out and only killed side characters that everyone already knew would die. Lame
@@Jdb63 word!
Lol you still got another battle to fight😂😂 they still aren't safe
Why does Rob always hate on the best characters?
coz he's dumb lol
Cause he’s a hater. He hates on anyone that ain’t Sansa or Arya.
Cuz Arya is his daughter
Game of thrones is the only show that keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout an hour and a half battle..... this shit is crazy!!!!!
I love how you guys just accept what is happening, no judgement just pure love for a fantastic show.
When Arya stabbed the Night King I literally jumped up and screamed “What do we say to the god of death?! Not today!!!”
Theon bought Arya time. He’s no longer Reek.
Rob is straight up clueless.
Arya went from a scared little girl to a walker slayer she’s the mvp
thank y'all for the great reactions! much respect
Arya - the princess that was promised. Rheaygal and Ghost is in the next episode.
Valyn McNeil I remember Missandei mentioned about the translation of that in Valyrian tongue. that its not specifically meant “Prince”...
THere is no azor ahai or pince/princess that was promised in the show, the prophecy doesnt exist, because she matches 0 out of anything in either of those prophecys. they was all bullshit
Valyn McNeil then what was the point of Resurrecting Jon n what was the point of Bran being the Three eye raven??
Irmine Merilles Yes there is the red Priestess even talked about it
Don't call her that
Guys, all of your reactions when the Knight King has a choke hold on Arya, & the way U all jumped, feeling her pain as well, well, I took a SCREAN SHOT of all 5 of U Ma-Fa-Kas, & now, it's my Background on my PC. Such a genuine reactions. Thanks guys.
“that’s my fucking daughter!” feeling parental towards the stark girls is very relatable
Theon dyes protecting the one he betrayed just like Boromir dyes protecting Frodo.... Epic!!!!
dies*
Boromir dies protecting Merry and Pip, which is how they get taken. Frodo and Sam were already gone. The sentiment was nice though lol.
wow spoiler
At that point I thought everything was doomed all hope was completely lost. I surely thought brans dead and then came the priceless moment. Legit reacted just like you guys. It was so good.
Mahesh it was amazing !!!
Omg yall’s reaction was EPIC!! I felt that one 😂
Theon Greyjoy- Defensive player of the year
