- Today we are raising the oversized pallets for the walls of the cattle shelter. With winter quickly coming, we have to get some of the chores done to prepare. This project has been on our list for quite sometime but we just haven't been able to get to it. Thank you to James for helping get this started and making the job a bit more fun. Commentary provided by James Hansen The comedian in the family.

Y’all are a joy to watch and thank you for sharing your work. Wish more people would be like you all. God is using you. My daughter could use some one like you to help her get her house up to date so they can move in. Her two daughters are staying with their dad and today her husband was released from hospital where he has been fighting a serious infection that has gotten into his bone and my need his other foot amputated. Enough keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you with all grace and mercy

That's amazing! Not only are you recycling what would be otherwise wasted, but thats a couple of thousand in material nowadays.

Good commentary James. (I've only seen small pallets and know those can be insulated, if they have two sides, as with pieces/strips of Styrofoam sheets.) Around here, some places mound up bales around the outside of a building, and historically, even on the roof of pole shelters, to add insulation. (Animal shelter is important. It reduces strains that increase feed use, reduces illness from over-exposure/wet, etc.) Thanks for showing your ideas and progress.

Those pallets are massive! How in the world did you get them home? I can’t wait to see the finished project. Nice voice work James 🤣. 👍🏻❤️✌🏻
A friend of ours brought them in on a large flat bed trailer.
Could you hear me saying, "Don't drop it." Nice project.
If you remove a couple of boards and get some short tow straps or chain you might get better control of the pallets . That's just a suggestion I don't know if it would work or not .I can't wait to see the finished product. God bless!!!

Hard to believe that those were HUGE pallets. How large will all that ne for the cows you have and will it be enough for all of them to be under, comfortably?? Thanks for sharing. BTW, James Funny narration was to die for. LOL.
These pallets transported huge injection molding machines and should do the job nicely. It is going to be larger than we had expected and should be plenty for the 5 cows it will be for.
