Those dogs are agonizingly adorable. They win on sheer cuteness alone. Kind of irresistible. I've never had one myself, but I've met quite a few in Tennessee.
Beautiful dogs & wonderful companions...I was blessed to have one adopt my family two years ago. He's so fit, you can't imagine! And ready to play with every dog he meets! Just an amazing persona...loves to stop and "chat" with any of our neighbors who happen upon us on our walks twice a day!.................
Thank you for taking this sweet girl in. This breed is so sensitive. It takes a lot of emotional support and love to help them overcome a negative past. But they are so loyal and loving once they know you can be trusted. I have one, too. He was also shot at. I can hardly speak of it, and try to not let me mind go there. But now he is an overindulged boy who is absolutely adored by my family. He basically owns the house. The people just pay the mortgage. 🤷🏻♀️
I love my Treeing Walker Coonhound to bits. Her name is Stella and she is 6 yrs old now. Best dog I have ever had! Today, a rabbit came up on my snowy deck and she was inside and went nuts.🐰

We adopted a treeing walker 2 years back. She was in bad shape from being shot and starved, but our girl is the sweetest
