It seems (almost) nothing has been changed - not the painting, perhaps not even the line numbers! Biggest difference: In Zurich, they swayed less… (However, the rail network in Vinnytsa seems to be much better maintained than in other Ukrainian cities.) And 6:18 : last Zurich type of the Swiss „standard“ series who‘se first (proto)types were put into service 1939! This type, called „carp“, was built 1959 and 1960 and used in Zurich till 2006.

there is a notice that the first of 35 model 2000 trams should have been delivered this summer with a time frame of about 3 years for all 35, but because of the war the delivery has been suspended. let's hope that this city will be spared from the war as much as possible. somewhere the population has to be able to live halfway normally after the war. in the last section from 17:39 you can also see why it can rock like that. the whole section would have to be renovated and straight rails installed.
Looking back at this. You possibly wouldn't have believed that Ukraine would start liberating its territory with swift counteroffensives. For me it gives hope that we will receive not just peace, but also victory, thanks to our defenders and western military tech. Also Vinnytsia already receives 8 of the newer Tram2000 trams.
@@beatrueegg2722 at least one is already in Vinnytsia. 3-4 are reported to be there. 8 in total have departed from Zurich and you can see Videos of them going on the railroads.
All the trams on this video (apart from a Mirage in advertising livery and a service car) carry a very Zürich-like livery. Even the ones that are not ex-Zürich. The trolleybuses are in the same colours, although I don't know enough about them to say whether they are ex-Zürich or not. Is this just a happy coincidence that the two cities have similar liveries, or did Vinnytsia like the look of its ex-Zürich trams so much that it painted everything else in the same colours?.
Haha, funny seeing those Trams with kiryllian Letters in a ukrainian City...I drove with them sooo many times! At least they got there own Tracks there for big amount of stretches, eaven though in a little bit a desolat condition 🤔...
Тому, що вони з високо розташованою підлогою. Зараз нові трамваї виробляються здебільшого низькопідлогові. Це важливо для маломобільних груп населення. Та й технології з тих пір розвинулися. Вироблятимуть нові моделі.
