    Great video and good friendship and working chemistry between you and Matt. I genuinely thought '1 month later' was a spoof of 'sometime later' at first. 😁

    The brake hose closing up was a common issue we ran into when I was working restorations on British cars. It's endemic to most vehicles when they get that age, the rubber hoses eventually just give up.

    • @SimpsonsClassics
      @SimpsonsClassics  Год назад

      Oh really I didnt know it was a common issue with these, well its easy enough to sort for sure. Thanks for watching.

    Good work guys, your using yours as much as I do - it always needs something😂. I’m sure you know this but the issue with the flexi hose is the the foot pressure is far higher than the return pressure, so when they fail, you can pump the fluid in but there’s not enough return pressure to release the brakes. Keep up the good work

    • @SimpsonsClassics
      @SimpsonsClassics  Год назад

      Haha 😂 glad I am not the only one then. Yes the flexi is the issue and will be replaced. Thanks for watching 👍

    In case you didn't know, the rusty squares, either side of the front vent grill, are because someone has fitted a late bay front section, then filled in the indicator recesses. But you'v probably uncovered all that by now.

    Hi . Can you do less time lapse I really like to see what and how you are doing things. You can get a tool or make one for the brake shoe springs - its simply a tube that allows yoy to press the retainer over the spring and then twist it, Useful for mant drum braked cars incliding Minis. Keep it up.

      Hey Robert yes for sure we will try to bring more areas where its shown a little more. Yes I later found out you can get a tool, cheers for watching.
