  • I have designed tuning tool for use with my Fender Rhodes piano. I have shared the files to 3d print this tool below. This is also designed to clip onto the harp support bracket so the tool is always ready when needed. This could also be stored in the case lid.
It has been designed to reach around the pickup for the high notes, and also between tonebars for the lower notes. Allowing one tool to tune the whole piano.
If you work out how much it would cost to replace all the tines in your piano, then you soon realise that its worth looking after them the best you can.
Using a metal tuning tool may risk scratching or marking the tine. Any small mark will have a significant effect on fatigue performance and will result in tines failure earlier. Using a softer material tuning tool reduces this risk.

    Love it.
You could even make the thickness of the claw part slightly thinner before the rigidity comes in danger.

What a clever, clever tool. And being able to store it on the harp support is brilliant. Well done!

That's a really hard question to answer and depends on what you are willing to spend, how long you are willing to tweak and what quality you will live with.
I use an ender 3 v2, I find them reasonable value, though may need some time to learn how to set them up and get the best from it. The quality of the print is fine for making mechanical parts, in my opinion.
If you are considering a printer I would say join some groups and get familiar with what people are making with that one printer, and also the issues people have.
      Good luck!

I looked up this model and was surprised how cheap they are. What kind of resin do you use, is the resin very expensive?
