The album tells a story. The reason behind the videos and the lengthy ending. The videos tell a full story. Pretty much how newer Rammstein has been shooting their music videos.
You're right about the ending of the song fading into the next song, on the album it's a seamless transition. I've seen them perform this song live a couple times and it was the show opener. Since I've already seen this music video a few times before I was thinking, "this should be interesting", when I found out that you were reacting to the official video lol.
Lol. That is why I suggested the shorter version. This is part of a 3 video story w Release the Panic and Darkest Part. Thanks for the reaction. Was well worth the wait.
Michael Barnes is one of the best out there at combining clean and unclean vocals. You can actually understand what he says when he’s screaming and his range is awesome. Plus he’s never over the top with the amount of screaming. Always a great balance. So glad you finally got back to these guys. Great reaction. On a side note, love the shirt!! The system with the best video game ever created(MarioKart). I’ll fight anyone who disagrees😂
Awesome reaction, I like RED. Long music video intros annoy the hell out of me also. Unnecessary. In fact, I skipped the intro here in your reaction to the song itself. haha.
The song is track 1 on the 2011 album Until We Have Faces, which itself is a solid album. Like others have said the reason for the videos length is that it tells a story, one spread out across multiple albums and songs, specifically Perfect Life (Release the Panic) and Darkest Part (Of Beauty and Rage), albums that came out after this one. Regarding the ending, it's both in the OG song and doesn't lead into the next song, though understandably the song is shorter when played live. As for the song itself I originally wasn't a big fan of it because of the screaming, but over time I've warmed up to it and actually really like it. The ending may not be to everyone's tastes (understandably so) but personally I've got no issue with it. If anything because this is their only song with this kind of ending (at the time of this post) it helps it stand out and be remembered even more than it would otherwise, at least to me anyways. The story IS part of the song. I know only the song really matters to you, but what you said does pose a question... Has there EVER been a music video...that had no music?
The outro is essential,y Red being Red. When they decided to tone it dwen for _Release the Panic_ fans were less than i pressed and Red went back into studio to re-record and remix a few tracks for that album. Anyway, not my favorite Red track, but ifs good. That tour with all the fire did get toasty at times, but it was, for me, Red at their best. overall, I think my favorite album _ Until We have Faces_ of theirs.
David, if I recall I think Release the Panic is coming soon. Would love to see you do the last video in the series “Darkest Part.” Just do the short version. 😀

This song fades into "Faceless" (track 2)....Which is a really cool track. Drop Bb (A#)....love it! These guys rock!
Base and guitarist are the Armstrong twins and the singer Michael has an amazing vocal range. They played played winter jam with skillet many times

David I was cracking up in the beginning It was like you were wondering if it was a movie but no long intro for concept
Just for your sanity, I would avoid “Release The Panic” music video when you react to the song. Intro is even longer than this one lol
Agreed

I love this song.
