    It’s just amazing they didn’t demolish it. I’ve been there a few times and it’s incredible to touch history over the handrail. Love flying my drone around the plant. I hope they keep up with preserving it for generations to come

    I walked the length of the tressil for the first time today. It was amazing and I could hear the wind causing some piece or pieces of steel to make a banging sound as if the furnaces were speaking. I use to truck past this plant in mid 90's when it was still in operation.

    we'd be able to see a lot more of the history if that casino wasn't there

      True, but at least they are making sure some is protected and remains.

      That casino is a sign of what we've become. You see the power (represented in the mill) and the weakness (represented in the casino) and they present this as a good thing. How can it be anything different, right? Well, that mill built the USA and that casino is tearing down the USA.
