IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This video will not include EVERY single variant. I decided to add my favorite variants, including variants included in other logo histories on CBBC, because if I added every variant, then it would be unwatchable.
- This showcases the idents from CBBC only, not the other divisions, subsidiaries, and stuff like that (examples: CBBC on Nickelodeon, CBBC on Choice, CBeebies, & BBC Kids)
Remember when I said I might do a logo history on CBBC in the foreseeable future? Well, I've decided to create it as requested by many of you in the comment section, and those who voted for it to be the 260th logo history.
Launched on 9th September 1985 as a block, CBBC is a British free-to-air public broadcast children's television channel that broadcasts content for children aged 6-12. Its sister channel CBeebies broadcasts programming and content for children aged under 6. It broadcasts every day from 7am to 7pm (7am to 9pm from 11 April 2016 to 4 January 2022), timesharing with BBC Three.

I know I’m probably wrong here but 2000s CBBC was the peak like the 2007 idents were so creative to have almost like a mini Cartoon represent each letter of the brand is such a genius and inspired creative choice from Red Bee Media who designed these particular idents! 😍
2007 was my childhood.
The 1994-1997 idents remind me of the bumpers MTV and Nickelodeon in the states used to have. So weird and creative in a way that we don't see anymore. ☹ I like the 1997-2002 ones as well, especially 14:01 which is a reference to the Doctor Who opening.

The sixth ident is definitely my favorite out of them all, the way each ident was its own seperate little 2D cartoon is absolute genius
I actually kinda like the channel's bumpers from Stop Motion to 3D to 2D Animations around 80's to the 2000's until today!
How weird that 2016 logo makes everyone confused that CBBC is branded as BBC C 🤣

Growing up in the late 2000s and early 2010s CBBC was a big part of my childhood with actually amazing shows. Shame to hear it’s going.
The 2007-2014 one was my childhood. The newest one is a travesty. 😂
and now the 2023 one is a calamity, it just feels so plain and corporate

Great ident history of Children's BBC. The idents from CBBC are interesting and excellent, especially for a channel targeted to younger audiences, and I'm pretty sure many British people may remember seeing them as children. Specifically the "green blobs" idents from the early 2000s and the idents seen from 2007 until 2016.
However, the 21:39 2016 ident looks like an acid trip in 2D form...
The 1991 logo and era was so cool which was the coolest logo and era of CBBC. It should come back someday in the future
