I'm absolutely mind-blown to see the old-gen characters animated in such quality. You even included My Little Pony Tales! That series is nearly forgotten. Absolutely amazing.
Awesome video :) I grew up with the first MLP gens but left MLP during G3, it just wasn't MLP anymore but G4 season 1 as it was airing brought me back. It helped that Lauren Faust and other well known people were involved with it. Now i'm still around watching G5

But still, I would love to see how we transit to G5 next after Twilight Sparkle took the Princess Reign, but her loss of her friends and loved ones (Spike is too big for Canterlot and return home to the Dragonlands), fell into depression and then she decided to go back to the life of a mortal, the races are at a crisis again, hence G5 started.
This was such a beautiful and marvelously animated vid i love it! it's always a real treat to see the timeline of the previous 3 generations used in the history of mlp, and this timeline was put together ever so splendidly and the narration was just terrific make no mistake about it, you did a perfectly divine job on this masterpiece simply masterful work!!!

really underrated video. it was beautiful, tragic, emotional, epic, lovely, and even cheerful and triumphant. you dont know how much emotion came from me when i saw this as an og brony. i wish i could describe how i feel better and make some essay on why this video is great but im too lazy haha! you did an amazing job and this video was a beautiful and emotional masterpiece.
Sorry I think you've got a little confused here, there is no mention of G5 in this story whatsoever, it doesn't even make it past season 5 of G4, and those characters at the end were made up by me, although I'm kinda curious of those leaks you mentioned.
I wouldn't mind not accepting Twilight's ascension, in my headcanon, Celestia & Luna would have been married with kids, and Twilight, despite an alicorn, she & Cadance embrace their mortal life so they can live and die together with their friends. G5 would never happen and would have been very different like a G5 in the G4 AU.

People should give previous gens a chance, they are way different, but it adds to the lore and history of the fandom.
G1 is the best choice to watch, it's darker in feeling in the episode, particularly Tambelon when Grogar is scary after Tirek.
I like your narration. The overall storytelling is just awesome that it reminds me of Twilight's storybook of griffion stone.
