the Frost Gleeok in the Hebra area where the light blue pin is. I had a personal vendetta against this one gleeok because it kept killing me and killing me time and time again. I am not beating the game until I kill that Gleeok
Just so you know the ice attack up doesn’t actually make you do more damage in cold enviorments it just adds a burst of the ice at the end of a charge attack same goes with fire and electric weather attack up but for their elements
I remember spending hours hunting down every last flux construct in the depths in order to get the flux construct metal. Tip if you are having a hard time spotting flux construct battle arenas in the depths then just open the map and pay close attention to the terrain. You will notice that flux construct areas are not coulord in to the map but still leve that distinctive round arena shape. Pay close attention to your depths map and mark suspiciously around looking surfaces you see.

Its so sick that the gleeocks take fall damage, i've fought plenty of them but never knew that. I also agree about the medals, it would've been amazing if you got a specific armor peice for each type of monster with the medal on it (like the gleeock medal could have link get gleeock wings, or heads, the molduga medal could have his head in the jaws of a molduga, it could be really fun.) Or, like you mentioned we could display them, or they could at the very least give us buffs of sorts. Its pretty sad how little go into the rewards.
Just fyi: when the giant fireball from the flame gleeok comes down, if you face the fireball and put up a metal shield you can block it and use the wind from the fire to get up high to attack it again.
The Gleeoks have a final attack? The only one I fought was the sky King Gleeok because of the Tarrey Town mission. When i defeated it I don’t remember it going to the sky like that. I thought that when it is low health it was just grounded. No idea there was a stage 3. I was wearing the Hylian armor pieces, so no damage boost. Can’t recall if I ate damage boosting food, but I don’t normally make those so probably not.
Lynels are still my favorite bad ass bosses. Because of the materials they drop not to mention the savage 5 bow. (King) Gleeok dissapoints in this. Bummer, because it is also a great fight
"Lets just use the demon king's bow because I dont want to run out of arrows..." Which bow you use does not effect arrow consumption rate. Multishot bows still only consume one arrow per shot
It would've been cool if there was one in the depths called the queen gleeok, double the hp of a king gleeok, double the size, all three elements. Once defeated a fourth head sprouts with double damage and has a gloom horn. When attached to a gloom weapon it deals double the normal damage. Fuse power: 50 Random thing i thought of
This game is honestly stupid lol in playing red dead redemption 1 remaster on switch and it's such a better "game". This totk is a simulation and no longer a game with any rewards. Just garbage rewArds lol 😂 13 of these things and you get a useless medal...

Kinda related, the funniest thing I've seen in this game is how one of the king gleeoks died, after shooting the three heads he died of fall damage.

you can fuse the weapons with gloom toll to another weapon to remove the gloom toll effect while keeping the danage

You can't ride the winds up on a king gleeok. You have to ride the ice blocks up while you have lightning resistance.

So when it is attached to a gloom club (50 dmg), the damage is 150 instead of 100
so there actually is one in the depths it’s a gloom enhanced king gleeok and it is a pain in the neck
