My Virgin Kitchen is a RUclips cooking channel created when I wanted to teach myself how to cook and create a video diary of the journey / mrbarrylewis . I have never had a professional lesson & am just your every day chap attempting recipes to inspire you guys to try too. My Wife Becky (aka Mrs Barry) now joins in on the channel too, we upload 2 recipe videos per week, but some fun is had too on Sunday when it is our Funday where anything goes....including giant foods, mini foods, taste testing foods sent from around the World, kitchen gadget testing and many more. Any requests for recipes / cool stuff you've seen let us know! I try my best to reply to as many comments as possible, but it is hard to as we are busy working on the next video, but please interact with eachother and be respectful :-) #barrylewis

I see a lot of their mom in phoebe, personality wise. She seems to be the quieter, more thoughtful (pensive, wise) one. And then Chloe is more of their dad. Very vocal and robust personality. Great kiddos :)

And you're basing this on youtube videos about food, are you? For instance this video tells me that Phoebe is his favorite, which I'm sure isn't the actual case.

She's . . . a bit much for me personally. I found myself wincing and skipping forward sometimes, hahah.
BUT it's most likely my bias showing, rather than actually being about her. (I rather dislike children, and the younger they are, the less I like them)

I love Chloe's crazy faces/screams! One of the things that initially drew me to this channel.
Plenty of cooking RUclips channels try to have kids or an over exaggerating personality that makes me dislike the videos, but this family is just truly likable.
Great father/daughter memories made right there. Very nice to see them in a video again and to see them being brave enough to test out treats from other countries.

I'm an English teacher in Korea and my kids love these snacks! They also eat uncooked ramen noodles and several other versions of the ramen-like snack, as well as the shrimp chips (mayo or garlic flavored). It's funny seeing your girl's reactions to the snacks!
Chloe is going to be such a diva when she grows up! Never seen a child like her! Can't stop laughing at how funny she is haha.

I recently tried the Honey Butter Chips. I was inspired by the game 'MysticMessenger'
I tried the on with the Criss Cross pattern. It might be a different flavour though, it was labelled 'Honey Tong Tong' and tasted more sweet than savoury. The packaging was almost identical though.

Hey Barry, I'm a relatively new viewer, I stumbled onto one of your videos when I was looking for a review for a kitchen gadget, and naturally I binged the entire playlist within a day or 2 :P I just wanted to say that really enjoy watching your videos :D and that you have a lovely family! watching your relationship with your wife and the girls is inspiring, I think you're fantastic parents :) and you put a smile on my face

Chloe is such a "ham" I love what she comes up with sometimes it's just way to funny. Phoebe has your palate Barry, she's a foodie for sure.
My husband and I both love spice so if we had children they would probably love spicy foods. We love honey as well so the honey treats would be a hit.
Choco Pies are just like Moon Pies here in the US, we also have them with different flavored marshmallow too.

There's a style of rice cakes in Korea are sausage/long gnocchi-like dumplings. For tokbokki/dokbokki/other spellings they're simmered in a spicy sweet sauce.

Watching Barry's confusion over the "rice cake" was great. It's made to resemble ddeok, a Korean rice cake, rather than the western idea of an airy puffed rice patty.

I live in Ontario, and I can buy quite a few things locally that originated from other countries, including Nong Shim snacks, locally I can get the Onion Rings (they're amazing), Honey twists and Shrimp Crackers (I can't bring myself to try them), among some of the other things I have access to locally are Tim Tams, Stroopwaffels and some Polish cookies that I can't remember what they're actually called
