How we use status effects in our team: Fire (killing all reds and some purples and also preventing them from moving and shooting) Firefly (blinding chungas or other heavy armor classes) Riotfoam (preventing the enemies from scattering espacially goldis, as they keep shooting and moving when on fire) EMP (against black tusk pretty effective) Bleed (minor debuff helping in combination with fire to ensure the purples die)
I use a similar type build, but I use Scorpio, harmony weapons with drone and chem launcher for fire. Using Harmony and drone gives extra damage on both while drone is operating. Also with these builds Scorpio effects also spread to other close npc's, gets you out of trouble with rushers and huggers most of the time. Been using my build for years now and am now looking to see if some of the latest gear may help me increase damage but just got so used to the build I now just fight on pure instinct. Not having to even think about what skills your using is a big advantage lol. For rooms that have disrupt problems I just switch to a melee build that I have that really rocks.
Just a small editing tip. Keep the volume of the music in the background consistently low while you talk or else it keeps going up and down in the middle of your sentence. I don't know if it's automatic or not, just adjusting it manually would be the best. Really great video though, loved it :)
Tried this with a golan chest piece with glass cannon, blue main core and skill dmg and status effects attributes. Deals a ton of dmg but the decrease in range for status effects spreading is not really worth it
@@nilrec I was lucky to get a golan holster with maxed out status effects and some skill haste, so I just put a yellow core on it to get six tiers. I just feel like the eclipse chest plate works for me until I get a good wyvern chest plate lol
@@nilrec yh technician. More burn dmg but burn duration goes down to 12.4 sec from 13.7 that is max with 4 piece eclipse, a golan with yellow core and vile. The acosta backpack also has 10% status effects, i use that with a support build with jammer and foam/blinder for legendary.
In my Eclipse protocol builds I rather using both EP chest and backpack, but I've seen that Creeping death and Trauma are good options for specific content or enemies.
I’m just coming back to the game. How can I get the everlasting gaze? Everything I look up is from like 2 to 3 years ago and some people saying it’s a DZ exclusive.
you can farm countdown and buy named caches. you have a chance to get everlasting gaze there. i cannot remember when i got mine. but when i checked google it seems like a DZ exclusive item.
Would this build work if you put on skilled instead of glass cannon on the chest plate? I feel like you would just be useless when both skills are on cool down
yeah that could work too. but while your skills are on cooldown the enemies are either blinded or on fire. the downtime is not that long. maybe around that time try to hit some headshot for the perpetuation talent to be ready. in this clip when the burn status is gone from the enemy my cooldown for my stickybomb to use it again is 8 secs ruclips.net/video/BFqOJKQyfes/видео.html
One of the biggest problems with this and my build is if one of the elite huggers or a grenade get too close you are dead. Somewhere along the way the damage I receive on my build seems to have increased from this. Used to be able to just survive and heal but lately it tends to kill me more often. Very annoying.
Main reason to run the foam is its really easy to apply it and “makes” the team more accurate as the enemy is holding still. The way I run this is with The Capacitor, Everlasting Gaze, Vile, 4PC EP (w/ Chest & BkPk), Contractor’s Gloves rolled to skill tier w/ status effects. Skills : Fire Sticky and Riot Foam DTA from Capacitor & Contractors gloves amplify Fire Sticky damage.
Idk about you but I always regarded riot foam as worst status. Not saying it's bad but is bottom of the list when compared to others. For example I think shock is best form of status, it's like disorient and riot foam combined together. Can't shoot and can't move, on this case I can safely unload magazines on them without taking damage. If they are riot foamed however, I still wouldn't care. Yes they are stuck, but they can stil shoot back. Almost forgot, Shock also works on robotics. More reason why it better effect and versatile. Only issue is there isn't any good ranged skill to apply shock.
@@ImposterCookie331 That's where Scorpio comes in, the shock from that can hold any npc's close to each other still, good for escape or using chem launcher on them .
Not a fan of Eclipse Protocol, with this the cooldown on your skills are terrible. If you find Golan too hard to farm, try Chinalight, Explosive Damage adds damage to your Vile tick.

Loving this build bro been looking for something with a rifle status effect wise for ages

thanks! yeah these early videos are bit of a mess.. still figuring out how to edit videos :D

hmm yeah will try that too. was your setup skill tier 6? i guess i can use technician spec for that extra skill tier

@@erenjeager5290 yeah using eclipse chest works well too :D then like put some other gear that gives 10% status effect on other slots

yes that set up feels great to use too :D

Hey this build could be played in PvP?
i think so... but i don't do much pvp yet. still trying to get more SHD level. my pvp build is using an smg and unbreakable talent in the chest armor

@@nilrec that actually makes sense. I probably need to try it out in summit or open world to see what works for me. Great build man

Instead of wyvern, why not electrique?
electrique was not out yet when this video was made. :)

oh nice i didn't know you can buff the vile damage with explosive damage. thanks :D
Change chest pirce to eclipse and gloves to golan gear
thanks will try that setup too
can't wait to use this build on D4 🤣🤣
Come on man .This is the most generic / default Eclipse protocol build. Try to be more creative smh.
sorry.. i just came back to the game and these builds are new for me. I'll try to be more creative next time
@Nilrec That makes senses. In that case keep up the good work.
Meanwhile everybody User the same Red DPS build 🤣
@Thick99 They are trash too but in some raids you need the same red builds. The problem is when player's makes videos about same old bulids.
@@skwad8465 what is your build if i might ask then ?
