I learned year's ago to never say never. When cable tv first came out, maybe, 50 year's ago. I said, who would pay for tv, when we get tv free? ( 3-4 channels at the time). 😊
the panel gaps of the Cybertruck look awefully irregular in the video. Hope Tesla will improve this before launch. What was your opinion seeing it in person, is it as bad as it appears to be in the video?
Looked like a lot of wear and tear. I figure they were testing it hard. I would figure tolerances would be pretty tight in production. Cars are built by robots.
I'm from Germany and prefer Diesel engines too. The cybertruck definitely makes more sense in Texas than here or NYC. Mexico and Canada have plenty of space also. But over here it'll be a pain in the ass to manouvre this beast

Thanks for the video! Regarding the looks would you say you liked it or didn't (in pictures, before seeing it for real). And after seeing it in real life, you like it? Trying to get a feel for pictures vs real life...
I definitely was impressed and liked it but in a very limited context if that makes sense. I just think they have gone with form way over function. I just wonder if its going to be like the civilian Hummer. Seemed like a good idea but didn't really work.
Ya, I don't get it. This is a unusual video for me but it taught me Tesla owners and enthusiasts seem like nice folks. I had no idea how much they dig the cars and the company.

More like 10-20 years for new cars at the rate battery technology is evolving, big money race on electrics and batteries right now. For long haul tucks probably 15-30 years.
@@TheNewMediaoftheDawn Much faster than that. Tesla will offer a very good econobox (around $25k) in just a couple yrs and it'll be 5X less to own/operate unless a peasant only drives a few k miles/yr on their '94 Civic, it'll be the poor man's choice used.
@@Mrbfgray well Tesla can’t produce the 500 million cars needed, if they can even produce an econo box, and used that will still be closer to 10;years off, although used electrics are a bad used investment as the batteries cost most to replace. Most auto reviewers are bent on literally either selling you the vehicle since the manufacturer flies them in or highlight the negatives… for instance, Scotty Kilmer who is a RUclips mechanic and car reviewer but also politically motivated and will only show love to his favorite brand instead of remaining neutral by giving all sides of the story.
Thanks! I just got lucky to get some video of it. I review gear and my vehicles on my channel. In my videos I try to give a honest opinion. Since I'm not sponsored I can say what I want. My theory of gear and vehicles is "The law of diminishing returns." Spend money to get what works and keep it simple. You don't always need every gadget or the absolute best. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Short and informative, get my thumb up.
Thanks!
I’m excited about the truck. Looks like the 2nd one had a slightly damaged charger port cover - maybe it got dinged when they were testing.
Sure that will be a cheap part to replace or repair .
I learned year's ago to never say never.
When cable tv first came out, maybe, 50 year's ago. I said, who would pay for tv, when we get tv free? ( 3-4 channels at the time). 😊
October. OCTOBER!!!! can’t wait to get mine
the panel gaps of the Cybertruck look awefully irregular in the video. Hope Tesla will improve this before launch. What was your opinion seeing it in person, is it as bad as it appears to be in the video?
Looked like a lot of wear and tear. I figure they were testing it hard. I would figure tolerances would be pretty tight in production. Cars are built by robots.
Beam me up, Scotty!
Wow, you’re a genuinely nice person. Wish your channel success.
Thanks! Consider subscribing!
I'm from Germany and prefer Diesel engines too. The cybertruck definitely makes more sense in Texas than here or NYC. Mexico and Canada have plenty of space also. But over here it'll be a pain in the ass to manouvre this beast
I’m very sorry to see Diesel getting such a bad wrap. Love my 2 Jeeps with the VM Motori engine. Fuel efficient and powerful. Thanks!
Once you said "my eco - diesel" I was like - people have no shame
OK, I don’t get it, but 👍
You obviously don't even have your licence yet clown.. Maybe one day you might have a valid argument.
You can't "stamp" stainless steel. That's why point here on the looks and functionality. Other than that I appreciate the video and commentary without the usual contrarian commentary.
Its hard to tell - is all of the glass still flat like they planned in the original prototype?
I have a jeep gladiator and currently on the list for a cybertruck as well… love both platforms…
Best of both worlds! Be great to have you as a subscriber!
Love it!
Thanks for sharing this
Thanks for watching!
Deliveries in October! 🥳🥳🥳
Thats what the Tesla man said, lets see what happens.
@@MuddyRuttzz Hopefully, he’s right. 👍💪
Thanks for the well wishes to new CT owners! it's a nice change from having people send us so much hate and vitriol lol
Ya, I don't get it. This is a unusual video for me but it taught me Tesla owners and enthusiasts seem like nice folks. I had no idea how much they dig the cars and the company.
Us? There are no CT owners.
If I have to pick. I would rather pick your jeep because it has many fun mods custom to overland/off-road.
Thanks, needs a lift kit but I spent enough. Ecodiesel is awesome! I have a new video up.ruclips.net/video/8oB3NtuKXAg/видео.htmlsi=BPmOVwX9Ftuwq09b
Run it through deep water and see if battery remain safe or not. I am on the fence buying a hybrid truck just for that reason and going overland and off road. The storm in Florida and the later self combusting EVs have got me worried. Need to do more research!
A few Rivians came to this same place and all took on the water obstacle no problem.
@@MuddyRuttzz nice, good to know👍
I’ve been seeing the cybertruck around the Fremont plant area and I have to say that it looks A LOT better in person. First time I saw one on the road, I didn’t recognize the headlights and I was thinking wtf is that coming my way lol. Then I realized it was the cybertruck! It really does have a kind of strange Mad Max vibe to it, but it also seems really futuristic and captivating. Very cool vehicles for sure!
I was impressed seeing it in person. I didn’t think it very practical but who knows? I hope everyone paying their hard earned money for it has good luck.👍
@@MuddyRuttzz I agree one hundred percent! Also, subscribed!
Thank You!
Looks so badass when raised. I really want one now.
Thanks for sharing! Did you see the CT doing any large ruts like the Jeep Gladiator?
Air suspension goes way high. It could clear a lot. It is not a off-road vehicle.
@@MuddyRuttzz You think it sort of has the offroad ability to a lifted f150 or something like that? Did the Tesla employees say that it wasn't really meant to be an offroad vehicle?
Change the tires, let some air out. I bet it has great traction control and obviously massive amounts of torque. I don’t consider my Gladiator a hardcore off-road vehicle.
I have a V8 a V6 a I4 and now a model 3... I LOVE THEM ALL! I really doubt ICE vehicles will become obsolete, at least not for another 50 years... I love my Tesla but also love my V8 300C
I love my Diesels and I’m pretty old. Diesel will be around longer than me.
I wish you were right about that, still love my 2011 BMW M3 and fear fuel will become pricy and hard to find in some places by end of decade, almost completely obsolete by 2040.
Chinese auto makers are just as likely as they are racing for a cheap E car and have some already. But mainstream autos still need to have their versions out and we still need better, cheaper, less lithium based batteries. 10 yrs minimum before they stop selling gas cars altogether, maybe 7 fastest.
They look like military vehicles more than civilians ones.
Amazing video
Thanks, happy you liked it!
cheers for the upload
Interesting “space age” design but where is the truck?? I don’t see where my firewood, plywood or dirt bike goes. Looks like a Hatchback to me
There's a covered truck bed. You can see it 40s into the video.
Just give me the gladiator that behind the scenes please 😂
I would like a Gladiator too! Borrowed that one from my wife. I have a Wrangler Willys Ecodiesel. Check out my channel for cool Jeep and Gear videos. Please subscribe! Thanks!
I suspect that front end is going to show some serious crush damage.
How much batter does the tesla use by initiating the lift system
Awesome guys!
huge fan but the panel gaps that run on the side of the front headlights are very worrisome
Well even though it’s ugly the stainless steel part is a good idea for certain environments. Way better than just a painted panel for rust resistance I imagine?
You do realise stainless steel still rusts..
@@hobo1704 Yes, but I said rust RESISTANT. I did NOT say rust proof.
@@hobo1704Especially since this is 300 series stainless, not 400, so it will rust worse than a painted vehicle aa soon as it gets salt on it.
@@PhotoJohn80 that's why car manufacturers use steel and coat it with paint champ, because it is more RESISTANT than stainless steel.. Typical uneducated Tesla fanboy that thinks just because Elon made it difference it must be better.. You fools will never learn.
im sure it will not be here in October though :) its passed by now as usual :)
Thanks for sharing. You seem like a nice dude 👍 God bless
Thanks! I do RUclips for fun, its great when my videos are enjoyed, even better when they help someone.
Your voice reminds me of Dick Proenneke.
Nice video. Thanks.
I'll check him out. Glad you enjoyed the video!
on what car that failed see stainless steel panels before... although much better looking. it was a fail because its allot of unwanted weight. ooh wait it was the Delorean :) at least they managed to have things fit. instead of huge gaps
Stainless is great but your right. Maybe not the best for a car. Especially when the extra weight uses battery power.
those windshield wipers look very awkward there in the sight of view
Wondered about giant windshield wiper myself.🤔
Thanks dude!
