This was amazing! I’m also premed, I’m 30 years old with a husband and 2 kids. I used to be sad that I’m still premed and now I’m doing with a family, but I’m equipped with more skills that I didn’t have years ago. I’m more patient, more determined, my time management is better, my study skills have improved, and I have a better support system. All of these things took time to accomplish and they will help me see through with God’s mission for my life. Sometimes it just takes additional seasons of being molded to be fit for God’s promises to you. ❤️
I feel this Podcast episode on so many levels from being single, to not working in my desired career path, to having health setbacks, I just learned to stay prayed up and roll through the punches. I’m learning to grieve my desired life and now I’m at a point where I am embracing where my life path is taking me now!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾
the way this word was needed! This episode was for me. Everyone’s journey is different. There’s no testimony without a test. Yet God has our story written..it may not happen on our time but his timing. I understand and feel some of this “grief” all too well. Thank you for sharing your story Brelynn. You are such a light and inspiration to young adults like me pursuing similar dreams!!❤
Thank you so much Brelynn for posting this! God is surely using you and your testimony to reach so many of us! (Rev 12:11) May He continue to shine His goodness and grace on you. May this be your best year yet in Jesus Christ.
The length was perfect! Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experiences ❤. I relate with grieving delayed dreams especially after graduating and seeking to establish a professional career. The almost there moments can fee defeating. Being honest with how we feel and bringing it to God helps us to be courageous enough to hope again ❤. Cause one thing’s for sure it won’t come to pass if we loose hope and give up. It’s not a matter of if when we hope it’s a matter of when !
Cj i am very glad to hear you again.i love pageants i sort of grew up in pageants;at the age of 75 years old i still do pagesnts & i stiill do pagesnts of course i have had my ups & downs in life but when i find myself falling on my face i pick myself up & get back in the race(from frank sinatra's hit song "that's life").
So glad I watched your podcast today! Ive been here from the beginning of your RUclips journey. This message was extremely helpful to me as I am going through something similar in my academic journey
Thank you Brelynn for this!! I loved the podcast and I relate so much to Grieving your past life! Sending my best for you on medical school because it’s already yours ❤
This was wise and helpful. Maybe someone has done a slow cover of “Almost There.” A contemporary lyrical to that for your talent for Miss DC would be fire and such a fit for your story.

Finally started nursing school and I have to start another cycle of chemo. I needed this because I’m so sad and I’m not understanding why.
