Moreton is a small village not far from Dorchester and has 3 interesting things to see, T.E Lawrence is buried here in the small grave yard which is not in the church grave yard but close by. Also T.E Lawrence had a cottage near by called clouds hill, which in now owned by the national trust. The next place to see is the church of St Nicholas where the windows are engraved, we then take a short walk to the river Frome where there's a ford, here we can just enjoy the the view.
Finish off you visit to the wall garden and maybe a snack in the Dovecote cafe, the walled garden is also a campus for Employ my ability.

Hi Keith hope you're well & thanks for commenting. I wasn't until after we'd visited Moreton and Karen commented about the visit to the walled garden that the penny dropped and we were there the previous year Doh !. I t's a lovely place so peaceful we must have sat by the bridge for an hour at least just enjoying the silence.
Best wishes stay safe Jon & Karen

Hey Jon. Hope you both are well. Been meaning to get round Moreton for a while, its on my place to go list. The T E - Was it Thomas Edward? Anyway, nice set of images, the last one in the church was brilliant, symmetrical, nice use of light, love it. Need to get there one day. Stay Safe.

Didn’t know Lawrence’s grave was there. Nice that it’s still kept up because he died around the 1930’s so someone is looking after him! Lovely photos.
