    This ceremony is on-point and very well-done. Imagine this means as much to him as the family involved. To have so many family members involved must be something truly unique and timeless! The tranlation between Col and BGEN is a large toll and he has a sturdy support group to alow his career to reach this point. Congratulations, General.

      making general grades is a slow process!!

      @@willieboy8798It’s actually a pretty fast process. Most BG’s make 2-Star after just 2-3 years, which means the promotion process between O-5 and O-6 is much longer.
      Technically, Major General is the highest rank you can achieve in the military by normal means. 3 and 4 star generals are promoted by appointment to a position requiring it. So once they get 2 star, they can fly up to 4 star in just a few years depending on the needs of Congress.

    there should be bishops and archbishops at ceremonies liek this

    • @eliyahuohiyon7461
      @eliyahuohiyon7461 3 года назад +4

      Why? It's not a religious affair. If the person wanted a bishop there they would've asked for one.

    The army along with all branches of the U.S. military have far too many officers of flag rank. The majority of them in command of paper tigers !

  • @Casey13F

    Did anyone tell this BG to tie hie tie in a double Windsor like AR 670-1 states that's how you tie your tie in the formal dress uniform. Sounds like he's a trash Officer. But that's not his fault. It's the NCO's he's worked with fault.
    And a CSM with 30 years in the Army is a joke.
