Back in the day, the city had a special part of the Detective Division, called the Auto Theft Section, which was dedicated to and had specialized training/certification in auto thefts. Not a "Task Force" but specially certified detectives with decades of experience, doing the work and also supporting the Tact teams and others. They disbanded the section and haven't duplicated it since.

Citizens need to learn how to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights! That's how they can reduce car thefts and armed robberies! If a pregnant woman down in Texas and Kyle Rittenhouse can do it why can't Illinois residents do the same?
